I had a terrible experience with this company. Initially, I was quoted a service call fee of $49, which I was told would be deducted from the total cost. However, when the technician arrived late, he claimed that the service call fee was actually $149, in addition to the expenses for parts and labor, so it did not contribute toward the final cost. I called the company's number to discuss this discrepancy, and the person on the phone reiterated that it was $49, but after calling and talking to the technician, she called me back and said it was actually $149.The technician's behavior was exceptionally rude, and he even used profanity when he realized I was not willing to proceed with his services as I had caught onto his attempt to scam me. I have evidence of his misconduct as I recorded our interaction, and my neighbor also captured it on their ring camera.Review from Mark L

This company does respond fast when you have a broken spring and their service tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. However beware. Their pricing is at the top of what you will pay. And for this price, they only give a one year warranty. $200 per spring is crazy high for the parts only. No matter where they get their springs from which they claim is from the ***. And yes I did need other parts but once again they charged 2x to 3x for every part. Don't let them touch your door until you know the total price. And expect a $45 charge if you don't have them do the work.Shop around as I firmly believe you can get the same service for half the price. But in a pinch, they will get the job done correctly.Review from Rashida G

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!Premium Garage Door Repair assessed and priced my elderly mothers garage door repair. The quoted job cost was $1100 for 2 springs, 2 end plates, and 2 drums. She called me and I asked what services were being provided and questioned the pricing. The employee explained the work and became extremely rude. When the job was completed (approximately 30 minutes) he told my mom that the bill must be paid in CASH. My mom stated that she did not have $1100 cash, but would pay with a check or card. The employee DEMANDED my mom get the cash and refused to leave until payment was received. He insisted she go to an ATM or Zelle the amount. My mom called me and I heard his rude and aggressive tone which became more hostile every minute. He questioned my mom about who she banked with and how much cash she had in her home. He continued yelling and demanding the cash payment from an elderly woman who offered to write a check or use her credit card. He threatened to remove the work if he did not receive CASH payment. I hung up, called a family friend who lives nearby and the police informing them of what was transpiring and asked them to defuse the situation until I could arrive. When the family friend arrived, he took the check and left.My elderly mother felt threatened and bullied into leaving her residence after dark to retrieve $1100 in cash. The employee. was rude, condescending, aggressive, and extremely unprofessional. This company does not deserve one star.Review from Jim G.

Asked Premium Garage Door Repair to visit our residence for a new garage door quote. Without disclosing a service call fee, they had my wife sign a form, thinking it was a quote. Never in the entire conversation was there mention of a service fee, My wife is visually impaired and could not read the document. We found out afterwards that a $29 service fee was charged to our credit card. After calling Premium Garage Door Repair's office to dispute the fee, they stated they do not disclose service fees and that it was our responsibility to read their website's terms and conditions, as stated in other complaints. This company has very shady business practices, do not use this company!Review from John K.

Sorry I couldnt leave zero stars. I understand the labor cost since it was an emergency call but charging $225 for cables that ********** sells for $20 is ridiculous. Also two brackets for $150??? The company name on the receipt was different from the name on the website. Actually called a company named Superior garage doors. Receipt says premium garage door repair. Do not ever consider using this companyReview from Mark L

Do not use this company. They came out in late August to fix a garage door that had come off the rails. The job took about 30 minutes, they used no new materials, and charged me $400. When i asked about the coupon offered on the website, ***** said "oh, i already included it". Absolutely ripped off.Review from Matt R

When I called to get an appointment and explained the issue the person on the phone said the cost would be between $150-$180. I set an appointed and got a call a few hours later asking if they could come early (which I told them originally no because I work until 4pm) and ended up being over an hour late. When the tech arrived he looked at my door, said that the hardware wasn't the correct hardware for the door but that it wasn't an issue. He said the door was "off track" and charged me $300 for 10 minutes of work and didn't replace anything. Today (less than 2 weeks later) the exact same thing happened with my door, I called back and asked if they had any type of warranty and they told me no it would be the same cost. I don't know what these people are doing but to have zero warranty over work done less than 2 weeks ago is ridiculous. Clearly the tech didn't fix the issue and wanted to make a quick $300. I will not be using this company ever again.Review from Kathleen O

I should have done my research, this company isn't worth the 1 star. I called because my 2 garage doors were making noise upon opening. They had been painted by the association along with other painting done to the property. He said to call the association and have them remove the excess paint between the panels. He looked over the system and said I needed new rollers. He could do the job right now for ****** a door. I was not thinking and did not get another estimate and so I paid ******* to have the 2 doors repaired. He and another technician spent maybe **************************************** both doors. I called him the next day after researching the work that was done. A simple search on the internet found that I should have been charged between 285-385.00. I tried obtain another **** from him as he did not list out the parts and labor. I was charged ***** for 20 rollers and ****** for labor. The technician reported there was a supply chain issue and therefore the higher prices. He did send me a new **** listing the charges but did not lower his ****. He yelled at me and said he was not ripping me off. I received an estimate from another company charging ****** for the entire job and told me to never use a company without checking to make sure they have a 4.9 rating on Home Advisor or Yelp. I learned the hard way and am disputing the charge with my credit card company. Greed is alive an well with this companyReview from Doug L

This company is terrible. Service was quick and I was charged $75 for labor. $200 per spring to replace torsion spring on my garage. WAY overpriced. Did some additional research and found multiple companies that are charging less than half of what I was charged. Total cost came out to $508 because they charged a 7% charge for credit card processing. Absolutely insane!
