A Astro Home Improvements did a job for my neighbor which involved replacing his downspouts. At some point while transporting the ***** Ft sections of downspout from the front yard to the back yard the installer scratched the side of my vehicle which was parked in the adjacent driveway. I only found this out the next morning as I work from home and went to run an errand in our second car. Immediately I informed my neighbor. ***** did respond right away but I missed his call. Once I got in touch with *****- owner of A Astro to explain the damage he said that it was impossible because he had spoken to his worker and he was adamant in denying that he caused the damage. What a surprise! ***** insisted on having his worker call me. This man called me and was loud, rude, cussed at me, would not let me speak, and hung up saying to never to call and lose his number. Of course, I contacted ***** again and he agreed to come by and look for himself. A week later, because he was sick, he came to and looked at the WHITE scratch that ran 2/3 across the side of my vehicle. Immediately he wanted me to prove to him that his worker did it and insisted that I point out to him where on the already installed 25 foot downspouts was the evidence that it was caused by one the WHITE downspouts. In his mind a single worker lugging 25 foot sections of aluminum downspouts and a 30 foot extension ladder very close to my car could not cause the damage. This is our second car that is hardly driven and has not moved in over a month. I showed him the estimate from ***************, a little over $500, and he accused me of trying to extort him because I must need the money. Treated me like I was trash and a liar. He also threatened to *** me if I reported this.Initial Complaint

I am a 79 year old female, widow and feel taken advantage of. I called A Astro Home Improvements company because of free estimate they offered. I feel I was pressured into signing a contract on 9/10/2021 to have a gutter replaced. Then, I realized that I had to cancel the contract because I hadn't received a cancellation from another company, **********************, When I told the A Astro salesman about this, he became very agitated. I sent the cancellation notice to A Astro Home Improvements by certified mail 9/13/2021. Spoke to the salesman again, he told me he had been here 4 times, when in reality he had been here twice. (The first time to give me a quote and have me sign contract and the second time because another company told me I had loose shingles and he came back out to show me I did not.) He then told me his "time was worth something". I paid a $700.00 deposit, I received a check from the company for $450.00. They have 3 phone numbers, I have spoken to someone at all three. Finally, I was told to speak to **** but, when I called I had to leave a message. I have called twice and left messages, no one has returned my call. I have tried to settle this problem with them but, now they won't answer the phone.
