DATE OF TRANSACTION: 6/20/2019 and 1/25/2022 AMOUNT PAID TO REDEEMED ROOFING, LLC: $14,580.50 (down payment 6/26/2019) WORK COMMITTED TO PROVIDE: Wind damage repair/replacement as outlined by insurance company (****** *** ********** ***** *** ********* ********** insurance credit total $27,481.79.) WHAT IS NATURE OF DISPUTE: Some work listed above was completed by 6/26/19; payment was requested by Redeemed Roofing; however an invoice was not provided. A check was made 6/26/19 in the amount of $14,5880.29 to Redeemed Roofing for work completed with the understanding that an itemized invoice would follow. Any additional payment for completed work above the amount of $14,5880.29 would then be paid. As future work was completed, upon receipt of a relevant invoice, future checks would follow. The Redeemed Roofing representative, *** ********, accepted the check. NOTE: In anticipation of a permanent soffit repair, a temporary soffit repair had been completed in June 2019. Due to Covid-19, the permanent repair was delayed. In July 2020 squirrels were building a nest in the soffit/attic and an emergency temporary repair was completed by Redeemed Roofing. The company appears to have made it through Covid-19, squirrel activity once again endangers the the temporary repair. The soffit needs to be immediately strengthened (permanent repair to follow) or repaired in a permanent, workmanlike fashion to protect the integrity of the attic and house. ATTEMPTED RESOLUTION WITH THE BUSINESS: Current contact with owner and representative of Redeemed Roofing has been attempted since 1/25/2022. The representative, *** ********, said the soffit repair would be addressed in the first week of February. Voice mails from the client to the Redeemed Roofing owner, **** *******, and representative, *** ********, as well as filling out the "On-line web contact request," has received no response to date. CONTRACT: Redeemed Roofing, LLC Contract dated 6-20-2019 attached.Business response

I, **** ********* (Owner of Redeemed Roofing), met with ****** on 2/21/22 at 9am. At that time I walked around the house to what was going on. I noticed a soffit piece missing on the south side of the house. We as a company had completed the roof, gutters, downspouts per insurance. We had also removed the tree and deck debris for the first check amount of $14,580.29. ****** had some ideas of adding on to the house and also building a storm shelter under the deck. We were going to do this work at a later time. Because of Covid, we have a worker shortage and will not be able to continue with this project. We have agreed to come out and fix and paint the soffit on Tuesday 2/26/22. We have also agreed to withdraw from the rest of the contract and that no other future monies will need to be paid. We have both signed this statement on the regular contract and I have submitted it as well.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. Parties include **** *********, Owner of Redeemed Roofing, *** ********, Field Representative of Redeemed Roofing, and their subcontractors and crews including *** ********'s dad and family. On 2/21/22 **** ********* agreed that the amount of $14,580.29 Deborah Dexter paid 6/26/19 covered work actually completed including roof, gutters, downspouts, tree and deck debris removal as per insurance. It is agreed no future monies will need to be paid. On 2/21/22 **** ********* requested withdrawal from the remainder of Redeemed Roofing contract commitment of 6/20/19 due to ongoing Covid-19 worker shortage. On 3/1/22 Redeemed Roofing completed a soffit repair in a workmanlike manner that they had intentionally left as temporary in 2019. This is my understanding of the response and I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
