First, you provided two men instead of three. The contract I signed had 3 men and I signed off on this. I understand two showed up, but because of this the job took at least 2-3 more hours than it should have. If I knew two men would show up, I would not have done business with you and went somewhere else for the move. Second, the team took the last piece of furniture on the list and just left. They did not do a final walkthrough or even notify me. I still had plenty of items in the house that I needed to move. I had to rent a U-Haul truck and do this myself until late at night just to move all my things by myself. The cost of the haul, gas, miles, and my time has to be taken into consideration since this was all due to your team not doing their job. Third, I have dozen pictures of all the damage to my old house that was done with the move. I can send them to you as well. I understand this is the cost of doing business moving, but hiring a professional company to do this work should not cause damage. They should have used protective blankets, etc so damage on the furniture and walls would not be so bad.Last but not least, the two guys were not happy having to carry my couch to my new house on the third floor. They even mentioned this as they were loading the couch from the old house. They did not even unload it from the truck! They could have at least tried to move it up to the third floor. They told me it wont fit and thats it. The person living here prior, had a king size bed and frame on the third floor, no reason why a 3 seater couch cannot go up there. Once again, how is it that a hired professional moving company cannot get a couch to the third floor? Maybe if they had 3 men, as agreed, it would not be an issue. I now have to pay to get two or three guys to my house to get the couch to the third floor since your team could not do it. This will cost at least $300 for this move based on some other moving companies I called.Review from Crystal S

TERRIBLE!!!! The ****************, location is extremely unprofessional! They gave me 2 different quotes & could not explain why the price went up by $400. They wanted to say that my move was long distance, even tho it was 46 miles away and the long distance clause starts after 50 miles. They wanted to charge me an extra $400 when my move wasnt even 50 miles away! I spoke to the manager who was very unprofessional so I ended the call. Called another location in ************* and told the woman my horrible experience. Told her I never wanted to do business with that location again. She said, let me have you speak to my manager, and the she transferred me to the SAME manager at the other location!!!!!! Whom got on the line and was like, hi, its *** from earlier! In a snarky way. I told her Im frustrated because the quotes keep changing. From $500 to $900 with NO exclamation!!!!!! She went, well the quote is now $3,300. $3,300 for a 1 BEDROOM move !?????? I told her how is that possible and she said it was the Saturday rate (im not stupid, its a PETA fee even tho I was NOT being difficult. I just wanted clarification as to WHY the fees kept rising with no exclamation. I WILL NEVER do business with them AGAIN!!!!!!Review from Valaine P

Ad offers $150 hr but they gave me a quote of $175 because its on a Saturday. On Saturday, they showed up with three guys and said they had to switch trucks. The rate went up to $245. Per hr. All I had was a bed, dresser with mirror and night stand. I was scheduled from 8 am to 10 am, they showed up at 8:30 and were done by 9:45 and they took their time. My total bill was 498$ instead of what was advertised ($300. For two hour minimum)Review from Brittani E

I used Two men and a truck to move 7/19/23. I was quoted over the phone $199 an hour to move. When the movers arrived, we were told $264 an hr and given an invoice of $974 (which still doesnt add up). I had a bed frame, chest, a sectional couch, boxes and totes. The total move was 3hrs and they drove less than 30mins to move to new apartment. Just one trip. we were told to pay the $974 before they could move our stuff into our new apartment. We were also charged an additional $132 so the final total for the move was over $1100!!! We were robbed and the workers at the office were no help!! this place is a scam and I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone and wish to have this place audited!Review from Wanda J

I moved **************************************************************. I had a bedroom set and some boxes to be moved. They asked for my credit card upfront, and I ended up paying $831 for a 3 hour job. They never had to make more than one trip and it was just up the street. They were supposed to dismantle the bedroom set and put it back together at the new apartment. When they put the bedroom set together at the new apartment, the rails attached to the bottom of the drawers underneath the bed were all bent up and I was unable to open them. I also saw a gap between the footboard and I was able to see the metal even with the mattress on top. The mover said he couldn't get it to close any further, but the bedroom set will hold up. I contacted customer service and all she said was that she had the same bedroom set from Ikea and it will hold up. I don't feel like they correctly addressed my concerns as a customer.Review from Mark M

I was double charged on my disposal fee and I've tried calling multiple times and left messages and I cannot get anyone from the office to reimburse me. The guys that came and handled my move were awesome but the people working the office are 0/5 starsReview from Todd N

I thought ************** *** was bad, but TWO MEN AND A TRUCK take the cake. Movers were over an hour late. No apologies. They charge by the hour, so they purposely move @ a glacial pace. Broke an antique table and said "I" could superglue it. Took them 8 hours to move my 1 bedroom apartment less than 5 miles away. Customer service was worse. ****, offered zero assistance, never contacted me when she said she would.Review from Walter S

Worst movers in history. I have moved before and never, ever had any problems. This move was set-up by my stepdaughter and when I contacted them to get the process started, every time I talked to them I had to give them my stepdaughters name and phone number. I'm sure they still have it listed with her, month's after the move was paid for and completed. Everything was started off all wrong. It was to be a pack and move. That didn't happen and there was a 1 day delay ??. Once we were able to remove our belongings from storage units, we could tell they just tossed items into boxes and didn't even put on most the room's they came out of. There were broken glass shelves for our 2 curios and we paid the local glass company 280 to make more. I left a ****** review and someone, named *****, replied and said he contacted the local office. I called the number and was told that they never heard of anyone named *****!Items were just not packed from our place at all. We found the kitchen drawers that had cords for our appliances, unpacked and left behind. We had to take 8 boxes to the storage unit. I'm 67 and my fiancee is 58. Both of us have breathing problems and that didn't help us in moving the items left behind. The motto on all the boxes we have left says the same thing; movers who care. I'm interested in taking all the empty boxes over to the local office and add less to the care part. I closing, it's always better to just read reviews on movers and other places you might be interested in. If I would have known that they had an F rating with the BBB, I would have just told my stepdaughter that we should find another mover. Since this was paid for through my insurance company, I wouldn't have minded paying a bit more. I'm sure it would have been worth it in the long run.Review from Jane D.

I would not recommend Two Men and a Truck because from the experience I had, they are not people of integrity and do not keep their word. We were origanally told by Two Men and a Truck they charge $400+ for a minimum of 2 hours. Since the job was a half hour job (we only had 4 pieces to move) we called around for better prices. We found one, so we called Two men and a truck back and told them we wanted to cancel. The guy we spoke with on the phone (I forgot his name) told us they can charge us $318 for an hour and a half instead. I agreed because Ultimately this would be cheaper than the other options we saw.On the day of the move, we were told we were being charged $228/hour for a minimum of 2 hours for a total of $456. We were told this by one of yhe movers named ******* (who was great by the way, all the movers themselves did exceptionally well). We asked to speak we Rashawn's boss. His name was ***.We were not a fan of **** He told us that while we were qualified for an hour and a half, we were being charged in incrimants of 15 minutes, which would bring our total to $342, NOT the $318 we agreed upon on the phone.Although this was higher than expected, we agreed to pay the higher price, but did express our concern at the difference in price. As punishment for expressing concern about the difference in ****************** CANCELLED the job. His Men had already loaded most of the furniture into the truck. He made them unload it and bring it back in.While this may sound exaggerated, my experience working in fraud has taught me to record all conversations. I have evidence that this is what happened. We have 4 more days to move. We were planning on having everything moved by now. This is no way to treat a customer who is willing to work with you.
