      On June 1 and June 8. 2022 this company cut the lawn at our residence and damaged the gate located at the north end of our property. At no time did said company advise us of the damage they did. Granted we signed a waiver that states they are not responsible for damage due to weed Wackers/ lawn mowing. However, this is a brand new gate, which cannot be repaired and we must purchase a new gate which will cost approximately $800.00. We have NEVER had any issue like this with a mowing company where there was this type of damage. This is unacceptable and the company never even took ownership or apologized.

      We do not make our customers sign contracts.  We charge our customers per cut, and the customer can skip weeks during droughts and dry spells, without being charged and can cancel their service whenever they want, no questions asked.    They only thing we do ask our customer to sign is our acceptance letter which details our rules for skipping weeks and communicating with us in regard to concerns with their service.    Within our acceptance letter we list out all the potential things that can be damaged or broken when using large commercial mowers.   We make our customers sign this acceptance letter, so we know they understand the risk of having commercial mowers on their property.    We have had a handful of new customers not sign up for our service because they did not want to take the risk of having their fence damaged and they thanked us for pre warning instead of having issues later in the season.    Our crews don't damage things on purpose and Luckly damage very rarely happens, but occasionally accidents happen.    When we charge $35 a cut and replacement gate cost $800, you can see why we tell customers we cannot be responsible for any damage done.    We prefer the customer not to sign up for our service if they do not want to acceptance the responsibility of potential damage

      I am rejecting this response because: the company failed to offer any apology or resolution as requested. We will not pay for the two mows in our yard when they couldn't even let us know the damage they did to our property. It was extremely inconsiderate and unprofessional.

      If our guys knew they damaged your fence and or gate, they would have notified you and our office.   The crew knows our policies so they would have no reason to hide or deny any damage.   When a large commercial machine weighing almost **** lbs. rubs against a hollow aluminum fence, most of the times the guys don't even know it because the aluminum fences are not very strong, and the fence does not cause any resistance again the mower.    For this reason, this is why we make our customers aware of the possibility of damage being done to any fences by the large commercial machines before they start up service with our company.   Our resolution was to be more careful and or not trim along the fence anymore incase the damage was being caused by our weed ****** whip.

      I am rejecting this response because: that is not a resolution. The company had to exit my yard with their equipment through the same gate they damaged. Therefore, there is no way they didn't know they caused the damage. Poor customer service. Ignorance of their employees is not my problem. We wouldn't have an issue had they accepted responsibility of their action and admitted their fault and apologized when it happened/but since they didn't, we will not pay for their service. They damaged our property and didn't even have the decency to let us know or apologize. Total ignorance and poor customer service.
