Dealership was scamming us by agreeing/signing on to pricing negotiating documents. the documents were showing wrong sales tax, charging us same service twice, charging us maintenance warranty which is for free. dealership provided us higher APR of 7.9%, higher then 6.29% this is what they showing on their website. upon asking to see the car in person, they were more interested in ?nalizing the document so that we can sign. noticing there unprofessional behavior, I started checking all the documents and started asking questions. manager showed us rude/disrespectful behavior when we complaint about all the wrong doings by his sales person. we wanted to end the deal but by then we ended up investing our 15 hours so i tolerated and continue with the deal. upon checking the documents thoroughly. we noticed the document doesn't have correct date, sales tax not even right car that we wanted. they were selling us wrong car. the document had lower trim VIN with higher trim pricing. financing document that they submit to bank had a different car with different VIN. we asked all these question and questioned how come there are so many mistakes in one deal. we can understand few mistakes. at this point, manager told us they cant sell us car. we asked for resolution through emails and contacted through google reviews as well but till date no resolution.

I brought in my ***** to be serviced in June 2024 and was told ***airs would be nearly $2,000. I asked the service *** if I could trade in my Jetta and to get a new pre-owned vehicle using the ***** as a down payment. The service ***resentative said it could be done and then handed me off to a salesmen. I explained to the salesmen my price range and that I wanted the *****'s trade in to cover any down payment. The salesmen asked a series of questions about the Jetta and then showed me a Sentra. I agreed on the ****** and was then brought to the finance manager to sign forms. After signing the forms, the salesmen gave me plastic bags to empty my Jetta. I handed the keys of the Jetta to the salesmen, then drove the Sentra off the lot that day thinking the transaction was completed. I received mail in September indicating that my license was suspended because the ***** was taken off of my insurance plan and the plates were never returned to the **** When I visited Napleton inquiring about the plates I was told by salesmen at the front door that the car would not be here anymore if it was traded in back in June. I had to ***ort the plates as missing to the *** to get my license unsuspended. In October I received a notification from ********* (the financer of the Jetta) saying I was behind payments on the Jetta. I contacted Ally and informed them the car had been traded in back in June and they informed me they had no record of a trade-in or payoff. I immediately went in person to Napleton. I explained the situation to a manager who told me there seemed to be a miscommunication with the purchase of the ****** and that there was no record on the paperwork of the ***** ever being traded in. The manager was able to find the ***** in the lot. I was scheduled for an appointment with another manager two days later. When I arrived to that appointment the staff was unaware as to why I was there or the nature of my appointment. I am still waiting for this issue to be resolved.

Lied about the car. Drove an hour only to find there was a problem. Told we had a warranty and it would be fixed. Got it home and found out it had a gasket leak issue. Drove another hour for a loaner car but they lied about that too. There was no warranty even though they said there was. *** would not return our calls. He lied to me and my wife and we have to pay $2400 out of pocket because he lied to us. He lied from the beginning, lied about the warranty and condition of the vehicle and he did nothing. We trusted him in the beginning now NO ONE there is returning calls. He blamed everyone else there except himself. He should be held accountable.

After not delivering my car but leaving my keys twice on my porch for the car and then they both were stolen. The dealer had to redo the locks it took 2 weeks after already waiting a week for the rust treatment to finish. Then they loaded my car on a transport truck telling the driver he would be delivering the car to a business. The driver couldnt unload my car in a residential neighborhood. He had to wait 4 days for someone to come help unload. Then we had to wait another 24 hours for the *** insurance to cover them unloading in a Lowes parking lot near our home.

Bought a vehicle there and said it had been inspected. Less than 3 months I had to replace all 4 brakes and rotors . They were down to nothing . There is no way this should have passed inspection. Just want people to know how they do business. They offer no warranty and these vehicles are not cheap so the cost was on me . Thats the mistake I made to not go somewhere that had some kind of warranty on a used vehicle.

The biggest bait and switch operation I have ever seen! If I could rate negative stars I would. Showed interest in a 2021 ****************** That was at 8:00 p.m. Saturday night the 26th of October, 2024. At 9:39 a.m., ********* contacted me via phone, to ask me if I was trading anything in, if I was financing, and I also spoke to him about what the out the door price was for the vehicle. Not just any vehicle mind you. This. Specific. Vehicle. No other. He commented on how beautiful this car was, describe the interior to me, describe the exterior to me, described some of the options on it to me. I asked him for an outdoor price what they could do for me and what my best price would be. I was then contacted at 11:02 a.m. by Arietze ******** with a short video describing the specific car that I was interested in. Both of these sales people are part of their internet sales team. Apparently or so I was informed, their internet sales team has no idea what's going on at the dealership, because that vehicle had been sold 3 days prior. THE SAME VEHICLE THEY WERE TRYING TO FINANCE ME FOR! Not knowing this I drove 50 minutes to look at the vehicle, only to be told that it had been sold 3 days prior. Of course they offered to show me another vehicle, that they could make more money off of. That is classic bait and switch, and is a shady tactic for a dealership to use. I was then contacted by a sales manager that informed me it was MY FAULT for not making a reservation so they could check if the car was in stock. Isn't this something you should do before talking to somebody mentioning financing, mentioning trade-in, mentioning out the door price, about a certain vehicle they are looking at? The simple answer is, YES. I'm unsure if it's them just being a shady dealership, or downright incompetent. But apparently according to the reviews I'm reading on here, they are just the shadiest dealership I've ever come across!

Don’t buy a car with Chevy of Wayzata owned by Napleton Auto. They are a scam. Bought a used vehicle with AC not working. 3 months later now & after the dealership promising that they have approved repairs, we’re still waiting without a car for repairs. Worst customer service experience & load of arrogant employees. Also how is it that their voicemail system never is in a working condition. Get your act together & train your staff on providing excellent customer experience.

Brought Optima in for Recall fix, car completely died going down the road, power steering goes out and all. Call the gentleman who just serviced the vehicle and he says well it could have been the alternator? He just completed a "full point" inspection which he documented and gave us a copy. Call the next day like ***? And the MANAGER ....****. was condescending and said that the "alternator" problem, which is what the man said when the car was dying, was documented and we received a copy. I HAVE THE COPY, ITS NOT IN THERE! HE LIED! All the while not even acknowledging the fact that his facility put the lives of me, my family and my unborn child at risk as soon as we left their shop in the vehicle they just serviced. He refused to take any responsibility for the errors of his staff and took it even further with the way he handled the situation and disrespected customers. It takes a different kind of negligence to know something is wrong, not mention it, and let a visibly pregnant woman drive away. Since the lovely phone call with the manager ****, I have talked to corporate everyday and they say it's on the dealership to make it right. And they made it very clear they have no intention of doing that. Meanwhile my family had no vehicle to get to and from everyday activities. And Napleton *** in **********, ** can't try to make it right? Instead they talk crazy to you and ignore you. What kind of business is this?!
