I left a deposit of $100.00 cash at Orlando Park Volkswagen on August 30th for a new vehicle that was to be delivered August 31st or September 2nd. When I did not hear from them on Sept. 2nd, I called twice and they did not return my phone call. I went to get my cash deposit and my salesman was to busy with another sale so I went to the sales manager **** ***** and he refused to give me my cash deposit back. I also lost out on a $1000.00 rebate because of his unscrupulous sales tactics.

I had a conversation via email with *** ******** yesterday, 08/29/2024 from Volkswagen of Orland Park dealership in *******. After this horrible email exchange, the dealership sent me an email and someone else called me about the same vehicle. I explained that I will not be purchasing a vehicle from them. Right from the start, *** was rude and unprofessional to me. He didnt like that I offered 5k below what the used car was listed for. I understand what I offered offended *** but **** responses were unwarranted and disgraceful and demeaning. Then for the dealership to call me the next day to sell me the same car was a slap in the face. I have attached the conversation. On 08/30/2024, I got a text from *** or Mj at the dealership from ************ which is a text app they are using to electronically harass me. I have attached all emails and the texts from them. I will being filing a police report and seeking further legal advice. I will also be reporting this unworthy behavior to Volkswagen Corporate.

Repair I have been so disappointed with the purchase I made on February 23, 2024, at Napleton in **********, ******** a 2018 VOLKSWAGON TIGUAN (*****************). The tires on this sold vehicle were bald tires which eventually blew out a month later which caused a road bump that screwed up the gear shift and now the transmission. My 2018 VOLKSWAGON TIGUAN has been at their dealership for a month, and I am waiting to pick up my vehicle. When it first got to Orlands Dealership, they were unable to give the exact issue of the truck since it would not start, and they were waiting for approval from my extended warranty, which was added with my car note when I purchased the vehicles and that took about couple weeks. They finally received the approval to fix the gear shift and thermostat, I thought I would be able to get my truck but that was a no. I received another call from them a few days later telling me it was the oil pan of the transmission. I inquired did you received approval for the extended warranty. The advisor at the dealership said I must pay it out of my pocket since he could not go back to the extended warranty for another approval. Well, I told him I dont have the funds for this. Well, I pay a monthly note ($632.00) that includes the extended warranty, and I dont have that kind of funds to pay out extra for repairs. After the Volkswagon of Orland Park finally said it was the transmission I didn't trust them since it took them a month to tell me the issue. They wanted me to file an insurance claim, so I moved my vehicle to another repair shop. Still trying to get my truck fix.

I bought the car on Friday march 1st of 2024. I put a $500 down payment and paid $400 for insurance to take it off the lot that night. I drove it with no issues on the weekend of march 2nd and 3rd within my neighborhood for about a total of 50 miles. I drove to work on Monday the 4th of march. I preceded to drive home that same day and my car started slowing down and stopped.I had to get a tow truck to take the car back to the dealership the same day of march 4th of 2024.I was told to call on Tuesday to be able to receive my car after the service. I was promised a Uber and reimbursement for the tow. I began to call and text a few times on Tuesday with no help. They continued to send me to different people in the company. I was told to call the used car manager the next day.I called about 4 time and they said it was still in service area. I dont even have the email for the payment for the car yet.I

So on a whim I decided to go to the Orland Park VW dealer to look and test drive a 2021 VW Atlas SEL. I had an appointment at 7pm but arrived a little early I was greeted by ******* whom became my sales person. Well lets just say ******* is a great salesman because I now own a VW Atlas! So heres where the nightmare began. I didnt officially drive the car until 2 day later, but thats when I noticed a small crack in the windshield near the rear view mirror and 3 small chips in the windshield as well on top of that 2 gashes in the radio near the volume k*** When I went back to the dealership I encountered ******* and I jokingly said well although I love my car no one should ever buy a car at night when the interior is dark. I bean to tell ******* about the cracked windshield as he came out to see the windshield and took pictures. Then ********************* comes out with his dismissive tone to tell me that it was nothing he could do for me because these cracks were not in the pictures uploaded to the website and that I could put in an insurance claim. So now I have to spend even more money to have my windshield fix because no one would help me! As a black woman the experience started off great and ended in a nightmare. If I were a man Im sure they would have fixed it for sure without any hesitation to do so.

************* one of the managers at Volkswagen of Orland Park spoke to Ms ***************************** and we came to an agreement since she purchased a Used Vehicle that was clearly disclosed as as is as shown, to split the cost of the repair.

In addition once we reviewed the photos online we could not see previous damage.

I took my car in for an oil change on 10/20/23. I paid ****** that included getting a rear wiper blade put on.On 12/04/2023 my Engine and EPC Lights went on and my car was shaking and wouldnt accelerate. **** idle it didn't want to stay running. I got it home. My husband and his Mechanic friend looked at the car and the oil was barely showing at the tip of the dipstick. They also noticed that two cylinders were misfiring. We called VW of Orland Park. The Service Manager said to bring it in, it was ok to drive. My husband said no way am I driving this car like this and with no oil. We had it towed which cost me out of pocket. I was contacted by **************** Advisor at VW stating my oil was low and they topped it off. **** asked how I lost 4.5 quarts in a month he said my car is older 2014 and it will go through oil and to check it every 500 miles. **** asked about the lights on my dash he was like oh yeah your two cylinders are misfiring and we "believe" ignition coils and new spark plugs should fix the problem. I told him I will call my husband and Ill call you right back. I called **** back and said go ahead and fix it. 12/06/2023 **** picking up the car after paying $566.51 my husband asked to speak with the service manager, he wasnt there. A Service Advisor was there and said whats going on. He told us to check the oil after 500 miles, my engine is eating it up but I have no oil leaks according to the tech. My husband said that is not feasible to go through 4.5 quarts of oil with no smell or puff of smoke coming out of the back of the car in little over a month. The guy was talking to us like my husband was stupid. My Husband told him there was no way oil was put in my car at the oil change. Voices were raised and the Service Advisor told my Husband he was through with him and dismissed him. I have been driving around for a month with no oil. They need to stop trying to upsell and do their jobs!

I purchased a ****** Murano on July 12 2023. We were told we had to pay for the luxcare and shadowmark because it was already applied to the vehicle and it was an additional **** dollars on top of the price of the vehicle. We questioned the luxcare being applied the evening we bought the car because in the morning we could see sticky stuff and glitter all over the inside of the car so we knew it wasn't applied also it was storming bad that evening so the outside wasn't done. I talked to ***** he said bring car in and they would apply it. With figuring out schedules to bring car in we were told they would let us know if they could get the car in. So I requested my money back for the package since it was never applied and I didn't want it anyway along with the shadow ***** We have been trying to work with this dealership ever since. As of yesterday 10-18-23 when we requested paperwork on when these products w for when they were applied they told us no paperwork exists. Then was told that they didn't have to prove they put the products on because we signed the contract. I said its on the contract because we were told it was already applied and had no choice in not taking it. I asked for them to pull up audio the night we bought the car and they laughed said its against the law in illinois to record people without consent. I told them I was contacting BBB they said good luck.

I purchased two cancelable service contracts from VW Orland Park on 08/05/2023 for a total of *****. I called on 08/21/2023 and 08/23/2023 to cancel the service contracts, and both cases I was informed that they were busy and asked for my name and phone number and they would call me back (they didn't call back). I visited the dealership on 08/26/2023 to cancel the service contracts and once again they told me they were busy and wanted me to leave my name and phone number so they could call later. I told them that I would wait to which they replied they didn't know when they would be able to assist in cancelling the service contracts.
