I am writing to formally dispute the storage fee invoice related to the shipment of a propeller from ******* to my address, which was managed by Hellmann **** I believe these charges are unjustified based on the timeline and actions taken during the shipment process.On Jan 29, 2024, I received an email from Hellmann **** confirming your company would handle the shipment and US clearance for the propeller.The propeller arrived on February 5, 2024.On February 6, 2024, I signed and submitted the ***** of ******** (***) to expedite the clearance, as confirmed by your company.From February 6 onwards, I made at least 3 calls daily to different Hellmann **** phone numbers and sent multiple emails requesting the tracking number and shipment status. Unfortunately, I received no responses to these communications.After 6 days, a driver arrived at my business location, stating he was there to pick up the propeller and deliver it to a warehouse in ***********. This was contrary to my expectation of receiving the propeller from the warehouse.The driver showed me two invoices with conflicting instructions.Finally, I received the propeller 13 days later, significantly later than initially planned.Given the above, it is clear that the delay and subsequent storage fees were caused by a lack of communication and mismanagement on Hellmann ****'s part. Despite my proactive efforts to resolve the issue, my requests for information and clarification went unanswered.Additionally, I had an alternative broker in *********** ready to complete the transaction within 24 hours, had I been informed of any issues with the *** or clearance process.Therefore, I am willing to pay for the brokerage and clearance fees but not the storage fees, as these were incurred due to circumstances beyond my control and the delays caused by Hellmann ****'s lack of response and miscommunication.I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.Best regards,*****
