I noticed subpar roofing - flashing unsecured and failed to nail or block existing nail hole from roof removal. After I complained multiple times to ****- refused to come out to try to help me resolve. Jake ************** also promised to take care of some damage inside the house from water- painting and dry wall repair and also repair screens they did none of that and also the initial cost increase and they called my insurance company and billed them for more basically its a bait and switchBusiness response

I would like to start of by giving a time line of events.
This job was approved by the insurance in May of 2017 and noted that the homeowner's out of pocket was $656 because he was using his ACV funds from the downspouts and the interior work approved towards his deductible.
we did the roof work in August of 2017 ( the delay was at the homeowners request due to personal issues)
final Payment was receive in December of 2017.
no contact from this homeowner until February of 2019 when he called in in a complaint of a gutter screen missing claiming our crew took it and a leak on a 3 seasons room at a seem (we did not do work in the 3 seasons room as it was out of our realm of work)
we explained then we did not do the work therefore we were not addressing the leak and that since it had been over a year anything could have happened to the gutter screen.
next contact is this complaint, we have not heard from this customer since February of 2019 with any issue. Now his complaint alleges that we refused to fix a flashing issue that we have no record of that issue as well would have handled that within days.
as for the price change, it is common practice to supplement the insurance company for things they missed or have the wrong pricing on. if what we were doing wasn't correct the insurance company would have denied it, yet they approved them. we did not change the cost to the homeowner in any way.
we completely resent the company being called a bait and switch company
We offer a lifetime workmanship warranty on all the work we do, so if there is a legitimate issue with work we have actually done for this customer we would be happy to fix it.

Although I did complain about some flashing issues I also spoke several times to **** who promised to get back to me and failed to do so I also posted on ****** in a timely manner complaining about the failure to paint in the failure to repair the screens and the drywall. The verbal agreement constitute a contract which they failed to comply with and complete also the delay in work was not caused by me but was caused by the lack of the business is abilities fulfill on their agreement **** will be able to verify this

Gave company a deposit totalling $1358.00 for a gutter and gutter guards to be installed. 6/29 $1250, 7/5 $108.Called 7/18 asking when will the installation happen. Told 7/20, 7/21, done on 7/22. Before installer left pointed out spot on roof where ******** were standing up, he told me they would relax.Called salesman *** 7/27 about shingle issue he came out and took pictures. He made mention would need someone to come out.Expected call for repair, none to this date. I have called owner and sales manager no calls from them. I owe them $1258.00 but will not send the money until this problem is resolved. I am so disgusted. Need this problem repaired.Business response

We have since bee to this customers house and collected payment. We have apologized for the lack of communication due to our crew not showing up. As for the actual issue, this was pre existing and part of the roof which we did not do. we showed her photos that we before picture to show it was pre existing. I had not responded to this complaint sooner as she had told my sales manager she was removing this complaint. as far as I am aware the homeowner and us are on the same page and this is a non issue and has been closed in our system.

I hired Alpha Storm to repair my home from hail damage. They did siding/roof/and gutters. This started in the beginning of March. The work was very sloppy and after the outside work was complete I noticed many cracked pieces, the caulked a window shut, pieces not cut to match up evenly, they used a TON of caulk. I could not even get my front door shut after getting it open due to all the caulk. Upon returning to fix that, they bandaged it by just putting a s**** in it. Missing gutter pieces. The contractors caused a surge in my kitchen and they have yet to come to conclusion about wether they will pay for my appliances that were fried or not. I keep getting told that they are discussing it and they havent even acknowledged most of my problems to get them fixed. I have many pictures of these problems.Business response

Good Afternoon,We have been out to this customer's house a few times working to correct what she has a problem with. From her initial complaint we were already working to fix things as it was only a few days after the job. One of her initial concerns was even fixed before she ever put her complaint through to the BBB. We have resolved most of the issue to this point, there is still some caulking that we are waiting for better weather to complete. As for her complaint of her appliances, I had my electrician go out to investigate the situation and explained to me that if we had caused the type of power surge to do this it would have been a very visible light show outside. I have his written document to show this is just an unfortunate coincidence. I am rejecting this response because: It is not just caulking that needs completed. I still have a list of broken pieces or things done incorrectly that need replaced. Yes, there is also some caulking to fix due to it being done in such cold weather. Since then I have also had to request the invoice submitted to my insurance multiple times. Which was submitted before all work was complete. Upon receiving that I realized they charged for putting my shutting back on my house which was not done and also charged over $2000 more for plywood than I was quoted when I wouldve had to pay for it instead of my insurance. They also submitted they used 45 sheets of plywood which Im unsure how because my whole roof was not redone. I have also spoken to an electrician that stated multiple things they done couldve opened the neutral to cause the surge in my kitchen. Ive sent multiple messages to which I dont get replies to. I had to eventually tell the company I no longer wanted them to do an additional project because I hadnt heard anything about when it would get done and once I cancelled I then received a call about wanting to schedule it. Communication is absolutely horrible!! At this point I have no idea when my house will actually be finished.

Again we are standing behind our work, we have an appointment to HOPEFULLY to finish repairs on 5/13/22. As for the plywood pricing, we billed the insurance for the amount we used. 45 sheets of plywood is on for 15 squares of roofing of which is the amount of roofing we did. pricing is different for what the insurance pays, when we have to quote for a homeowner we lower our price as a courtesy with the fact that we would rather collect money from the insurance than taking anymore than needed from the homeowner so yes there could be a difference in pricing. The insurance pays FAIR MARKET VALUE according to the software we all use.
I would love to see this information from the electrician that the homeowner says they have so I may confer with my electrician. IF we did in fact do something wrong we will stand behind it, If it is just coincidence as I have been told I apologize that it happened to you but that would not fall on us to replace..Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:It is sad that this is the way I hear about something scheduled at my home since I have not heard a word more from my rep or the office manager as to when anything would be completed. The lack of communication I have received over all the matters has been horrible.
