On Monday, July l5th I brought in 3 men's pants for alterations and a formal dress to be pressed at Norman's Cleaners at ********************************************************************. The service clerk charged me $79.00 before he began measuring. I did not like the way he was measuring and asked for a refund so I could go to another dry cleaners. He told me he could only give me a store credit and I asked where there was another location with a seamstress on site. He sent us to a location that was no longer in business. I found a Norman's Cleaners at ************************************************* and I brought in my garments. I explained to him what had happened at the other location and he informed me that I could have very easily received a refund and the clerk should not have charged me prior to the measuring. Anyway, we decided to use this location and the receipt stated the following: 4 items, 3 alt. pants = ***** and dress press = 9.00 totaling $57.00. When he looked at my store credit from the other location he crossed out the $57.00 and wrote in $79.00. I called to inquire why and he stated he made a mistake and the invoice should have been $79.00. Someone is not telling the truth and this does not make for good customer relations. I should have only paid what the receipt stated before he manually changed it to reflect my store credit. I would like the difference between these two receipt to be refunded on my credit card. I am a senior citizen and every ***** is accounted for in our household as we are on a fixed income.Initial Complaint

wife dropped off a shirt to be cleaned value about $100 over the last month or so normans has been unable to locate it and the head supervisor's phone mail box is full attempted to contact him via ATT e mail no response
