We agreed to work with Proven IT for managed printer services. The arrangement was:1. Proven IT sold us leases for printers (for which they receive a financial incentive from the leasing company).2. Proven IT would manage (deliver, install, monitor, maintain and provide supplies) the printers for a service fee.Proven IT failed to deliver on the promised services. They were months delayed delivering and installing our printers, the installations were chaotic with techs sent out without proper instructions on what they were supposed to be doing. They structured the printer leases improperly and failed to correct this issue when requested (despite literally months of follow up). The printer monitoring software they use did not work with our Mac devices so they could not monitor or provide supplies without manual meter readings. Their communication has been extremely poor. After months (and god knows how many hours of time) invested in trying to make this relationship work, I decided to end my relationship with Proven IT. The printer leasing company agreed to an early buyout of the leases, and I requested that Proven IT buy the printers back from me at this cost given their failure to deliver on their promise and the fact that they sold us the leases with a financial incentive. ***************** at Proven IT has refused this reasonable settlement, taking the position that "with regard to the hardware, they met their obligation to us". While I understand that the leases are technically separate from my relationship with Proven IT, I have these printers only because of the promises they made with regard to helping us to manage them. Proven IT got paid for selling them to me and then failed to make good on the service side of the deal.I would like Proven IT to reconsider allowing me to separate from Proven IT with a clean break by buying back these printers from me at the lease buyout rate.
