There was a mix-up regarding payment for my vehicle repairs from my insurance company. Once I was made aware, my insurance called them hours later to let them know a check was on the way. After receiving this call from my insurance, ***** proceeded to call me, demanding payment and making threats if payment was not immediately received. I took my vehicle to have it repair at CRASH CHAMPIONS in ************** on October 22, 2024 because someone had it my car while parked. I was informed that it was ready on October 24, 2023. It was ready alright! A few things I was told would be taken care of. Well, it wasn't! Picked up my vehicle and to my surprise, it was driven 4 miles and the SUNROOF was open and certainly not closed AND the BACKSEATS were down!! My radio was on another station and SUPER LOUD when I picked it up! I guess they failed to close the sunroof and put my backseats back up! I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH ANYTHING THEY DID!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!Crash Champions, LLC Response

Please DO NOT USE them!! I had a very small fender ****** with a parked vehicle; upon insurance recommendation I took my car to Crash Champions. Due to an issue with white paint on ******'s, my car had paint flaking off the entire roof and a few spots on the car - nowhere near the damage I filed for under insurance. They told me they could not do the insurance claim unless we fixed the paint. I said OK how much will it cost to fix the paint. They got back to me with a verbal quote (never emailed; they only emailed the insurance quote) and I accepted the $1,600 cost to fix the roof and a few other spots. Fast forward to picking up the car and none of the roof or spots were painted. I asked about this and the same woman came out who gave me the verbal quote and she said I agreed to it and that she had emailed the quote (she did not). I told her we agreed to me paying $1,600 for a paint fix and ALL they did for $1,600 was clear coat a 6 inch wide by 4 foot long piece. How can that possibly cost $1,600? Good morning, I am hoping you can help me with a repair on my vehicle. I was involved in a collision on 9/19. The original estimate for my repair quoted 15 days. It has now been a total of 36 days this car has been in for repair and every time I call the branch to get an update they tell me it will be ready "tomorrow". I understand we have had two hurricanes in this area, and that slowed down the work. However, I am highly disappointed that I have to call the body shop each day to find out when my car will be completed and each day I am told "tomorrow". So, to recap, EVERY MORNING I have to top off the gas tank on a rental car in anticipation of the car being returned that day. EVERY MORNING I have to tell my boss I will be leaving early from work to pick up my car. EVERY AFTERNOON I have to call the ***************** location to be told it will be ready "tomorrow" and EVERY AFTERNOON I have to call Enterprise to extend the rental one more day. This has been going on since 10/18. After a lengthy discussion with the General Manager of the ***************** location yesterday morning, I received the very first call I have received (i.e., I didn't have to reach out to them) from Crash Champions in the afternoon and the General Manager assured me the car would be ready today. This morning, they reached out to the car rental place this morning, and I found out FROM ENTERPRISE RENTAL that my car will now not be ready until Tuesday next week. This is horrible customer service and I would not recommend anyone to your facilities - especially if their service advisor is ****** *******. You have an app that can be used to track the service repair, however that app is useless unless it is updated properly. I would like to know why your team does not communicate properly with customers, and most importantly why they can update Enterprise Rental but they don't have the common decency to update their own customer.Crash Champions, LLC Response

I cannot recommend Crash Champions based on my experience. My choice to go with them was solely because they were the only shop accepting Lemonade insurance. Since my interaction with Crash Champions, they have not only placed blame on me for their shortcomings but have also demonstrated a lack of honesty with both the ******** insurance company and their customers. They initiated repairs without providing prior notification, prioritizing their profit over transparency. Additionally, they forfeited their contract with me by failing to conduct necessary diagnostics beforehand. Regarding *****, the General Manager, it raises questions about his qualifications for the role. After attempting to explain the situation to me, he "fixed" the starter only to later assert that the battery was the actual issue. This raises concerns about his technical knowledge.***** spent a lot of time "mansplaining" to me that he was a body shop and not a mechanic shop.*****, you indicated that mechanical work is "outside" your "scope" , yet you charged both Lemonade and me over $1,000 for repairs that were never completed. Nothing was disassembled or inspected. (To which I will not pay.)If this work was beyond your "capabilities" as a body shop, it was your contractual responsibility to contact both the ************************** and me. Unfortunately, ***** has failed in this regard as well. I would also like to inquire whether a background check was conducted for ***** before he was placed in this position. Additionally, I am concerned about how he interacts with female customers. This situation warrants your immediate attention.Crash Champions, LLC Response

Scam artists that held my vehicle hostage for collateral, despite the fact that I gave in and paid them what they asked for. Regretfully chose this auto body shop to assess for damages following a car accident. Dealt with ******* during entire process to assess for damages. When I attempted to pick up my car, I was met with a balance (that they claim was for tail light reassembly/storage fees) and they refused to release the car to me until I paid this bogus charge. Although I knew they were being dishonest, I wanted nothing more to do with them and communicated with ******* I would agree to pay it in order to pick up my car. My insurance company reported that this balance was PAID (ie they verified that the check was CASHED by Crash Collision).Upon second attempt to pick up my car, ******* claimed that my case was 'audited' by manager, *** ******* and my balance had strangely increased by more than 8x the original charge. CRASH CHAMPIONS EAST COLONIAL Since July 16th when I left my truck until today September 25th I still can't get them to finish the work on my vehicle. I had to accept a front grille that is not the original one on my truck because according to the people at Crash Champion ******* they say they can't get the original and now the one they installed is peeling off the paint, the rear view mirrors don't bend like they did before the accident. They always have excuses, they don't answer calls or text messages, I also have the contact number for ********, the shop manager, and he doesn't answer either. This has been a nightmare, knowing that my insurance company ***** already paid them on time and they don't care in the least. It's a shame to have had to have my truck repaired with them. They are the worst body shop I know.CRASH CHAMPIONS EAST COLONIAL desde el dia 16 de ***** que dej mi camioneta hasta hoy 25 de septiembre todavia no consigo que terminen el trabajo en mi vehiculo. tuve que aceptar un front grille que no es el original de mi camioneta porque segun la gente de crash champion el ******* dice que no pueden conseguir la original y ahora la que instalaron se le esta pelando la pintura, los espejos retrovisores no doblan como lo hacian antes del accidente. siempre estan con excusas, no contestan las llamadas ni los mensajes de texto, tengo tambien el numero de contacto de ******** gerente del shop y tampoco contesta. esto a sido una pesadilla, sabiendo que mi aseguradora Geico ya les hizo el pago oportunamente y no les Importa en lo mas minimo. una desgracia ***** tenido que hacer reparar mi camioneta con ellos. son el peor body shop que conozco.Crash Champions, LLC Response

If I could give zero stars I would! This is on behalf of my mother who crunched the side of her car. Farmers insurance (don't get me started on how I feel about them) gave her no choice but to go here. And they also advised her to not leave your car there until the part is in. Crash champions would not let her take her car they said they have to have the car until the part comes in (ok that's not suspicious?) they've had her car a couple of weeks and told her it will be at least 39 days for it to be fixed. Her insurance will not pay for a rental that long so now she is without a vehicle. They apparently have the part in and said it will be 3 weeks until its ready?!?! Now is that possible?! This is unacceptable and based off of other reviews she's not the first one this has happened to! This company needs to be held accountable! I had work completed by Crash Champions ****************** ** Nov/Dec of 2022 on my 2016 Kia ****** SX referred by *********. Rear bumper was replaced and a couple of parts replaced. The paint job was not performed by an experienced person. After doing some researching, the paint was contaminated and poorly sprayed. It had formed bubbles which I have craters, the edges that meets the body does not blend meaning it has blistering. There's a part where the trunk covers a part of the bumper is chipping. Just recently, the parking sensors popped out. I took it back to the ******** location & was told they are suppose to pop out easily by the Shop Manager. It's a safety feature, NO THEY AREN'T SUPPOSE TO. I took pictures of the inner *************** mount, there is no signs of adhesive. When originally taking car back for paint complaint, I was told the craters are rock chips. Rock chips are not circular. That was told to me by an *** associate. Both the ********** Manager said they will fix paint by sanding it down & buffing it. You can't do that to contaminated paint work. The clear coat is dull too. They refused to redo the paint work. Both talk to me like I'm a stupid female. I had my front bumper replaced & have not had an issue despite the color doesn't really match at an non Crash Champions location. The front bumper still shines like the rest of the vehicle. Whatever you do, if your insurance co suggest this place, DON'T DO IT!
