My wife and I are owed a refund credit of $311.65 on a tile project we did in January 2023. The Woodridge ** site has closed and phone numbers and e-mails are no longer are active. The parent company is ******** Flooring and Tile in ************ **. Their listed phone of ************ also appears to be inactive.

I already have a complaint (#********) in on Direct Floors but have more information. The Direct Floors store is closed and appears to be empty and looks like the building is for sale and I think they said they lost their lease. I think another company purchased them - ******** ***************************** from ************, **. They look like they are opening up a store @ ***********************************************************. I went to look at this store and it does look like they are moving in but they are not open & it does not look good- they are using the same phone # that Direct Floors used *************) I also called the phone # for the ******** ***************************** and the same exact message came up about being closed. I also found in Yelp two other people complaining about Direct Floors from the last 2 weeks .

I ordered tile for my bathroom floor November 10th 2022 & put 50% down $1352.18. They told me it would take 3 weeks for the tile to come in - well it took a lot longer but then they called me early January of 2023 and made a install date for the tile February 3, 2023. I took that day off from work and no one showed up and I did not receive a phone call or email to cancel. I called the business and left a voice mail because the business appears to be closed. I went to the business on Friday at about 1:30pm which is when they should be open and doors were locked, lights out, & no sign on the door explaining why they are closed. I am looking and see that perhaps I need to write what they call a demand letter. and perhaps file a small claim.

On 11-12-2022 we signed a contract and paid $5811.38 for a deposit on a flooring job. We reached out numerous times to find out when job would begin, each time told waiting on the tile and we would be notified. Finally was contacted mid December and told that floor demo/installation would begin on 01-09-2023. One person arrived, removed baseboards and doors and hung plastic for dust control. I then received a call from the company saying the time was from 2 different dye lots and they'd have to order new tile. New installation date was 01-30-2023 and supplies would be delivered to our home on 01-26-23 or 01-27-23. Supplies were never delivered. We texted salesperson who said they were let go previous week. We called the store, no answer, emailed owner, no response. Contacted salesperson again and he said they closed. More emails to owner and attempts to call and go to store, no answer and doors locked for days on end. ******** posts still being posted so I asked why not answering phone. I was sent a private message asking for my information, I did not give any, I asked numerous times who was messaging me and they wouldn't answer anything other than to say business closed. If used a credit card, contact them and dispute the charges. We currently are left with no baseboards as they were removed and disposed of, doors off hinges, and out the $5811.38

I purchased tile and grout from this company. There was an issue with the grout. I went through all the steps that they told me to. Took pictures, sent an email. I waited the 7 to 10 days that they told me it would take for a follow up. I got nothing back from the company. I called and emailed again and was told that they would get back to me regarding the issue. No one got back to me so I called again and realized that they had moved locations and change their name to ******** flooring. I emailed and called again the new number and found out that they closed their doors/closed the company on January 30.
