      Experience:*************************** borrowed $37,016.55 for a truck.Payments were made faithfully and on time of $960.18 Total INTEREST paid in 2023 to date was $1158.25 On 11/3/23 ****** spoke with a representative named ************* asked for payoff as of 11/8/23, as truck had been sold and he wanted a few days for postal to arrive.A check for the payoff amount given to him was mailed 11/4/23 ($33,579.34). On 11/9/23 ****** called and spoke with a representative.He was told the check was not processed until 11/9/23 and therefore an additional amount of $42.31 was due!! ****** asked what date the check was received as it was postmarked and mailed 11/4/23 He was told the check was processed the day it arrived and that the entry showed 11/9. ****** asked for them to accept the postal stamp date (AND as this was 11 am, ****** doubted mail had been delivered THAT morning and processed THAT morning (IRS accepts the postal date on taxes owed!!). It was refused. AND to make payment that day would require a DEBIT card, not a credit card. One was provided and then ****** was told there was a $4 process fee!!(Had ****** known this he could have paid the full amount owed on 11/4/23 via debit card!!! And saved over $200!)AND IU credit union told ****** the ***** would not be mailed until the $33,579.34 check clearedin about 10 days!****** told the representative IU Credit Union could simply call the bank from which the check was drawn and verify and freeze the payment amount of the check!

      Therefore, we deny each and every statement or allegation in the complaint dated 11-13-2023. If a consumer wishes to file a complaint with us or any regulator that has jurisdiction over the Credit Union, he or she is free to do so. If the person in question is a member of
      our Credit Union, we will respond to them directly as required by applicable laws.

      I have, for nearly three weeks now, been trying to resolve, with both Indiana University Credit Union and Metavante, IUCU"s online **** pay associated business, to get my blocked access to online **** paying UNBLOCKED. I have paid the $60.00 payment that was at the heart of all of this problem and both IUCU and METAVANTE have confirmed with me and with each other in their private business communications, that the $60.00 fee in question was indeed paid by me and taken out my IUCU account! I got phone communication from ********, a manager at IUCU, the Metavante personnel told her that they're looking into the situation and that it will take 3-5 MORE BUSINESS DAYS to see IF they've received and processed my payment and unblocked my access to MY online **** paying access. Metavante should not even be allowed to control this access- IUCU SHOULD! I am VERY FRUSTRATED with how BOTH corporate businesses have handled this VERY POOR< WRONG, INADEQUATE AND SHAMEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS RESOLVED PRONTO, NOW! Very frustrated, *********************
