Date of Transaction: 9-21-22 Amount of money paid: $924 They have breached a contract by not providing me my vehicles title in timely manner and can potentially put me in violating the law, due to me not being able to put proper license plate on my vehicle. PLUS, due to not being able to plate my license vehicle in a proper time frame causing me late fee penalties. The nature of the dispute is the breach of contract causing a civil lawsuit. After multiple attempts for them to justify this matter, they refuse to comply and assist me. Therefore, I had to contact a lawyer. Contract number: V1096450.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new vehicle and weather tech mats from listed business. I was told they had in stock but would keep to put protection coat on them and I could get when I brought car back for it's protective coat. I was then told that the mats were locked up so they would over night them. They didn't over night them & then I was told they were on backorder until 7/11. I then was told they had it in stock. I contacted them multiple times to verify if they were shipping or at minimum confirm they physically had them since I live almost 2 hours away & they will not return any calls. I paid $300 for the ******** just want the mats or money back.Initial Complaint

I bought a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee in February of 2021. I was told this car was in perfect shape and had no claims on it prior, only minor damage that was repaired. I was in a car accident (very minor) on February 28, 2022. I was just called by the body shopped and they asked if this vehicle has been totaled or wrecked previously. I told them not that I was aware of. They then told me the frame was bent and the front end frame rails were replaced and they are completely rusted over. I attempted to call *** Poynter in Columbus and they were bought out by another company so I contacted the location in ******* like they told me. When I contacted them, they stated "there is nothing we can do." This is absolutely ridiculous, due to the condition of my Jeep, and it being brand new and less than/equal ****** miles on it. I bought it pretty much brand new, 1 year old. I was lied to about the condition it was in. And now being told there is nothing we can do. The body shop that is working on it, suggested I sell the vehicle as soon as possible due to the amount of rust on the frame of the Jeep.Customer response

Hello,I would like to reach out to let you know I spoke with the salesman who sold me my vehicle, ***** & he stated he had no idea the vehicle was wrecked when he sold it to me and the car fax stated clean and no accidents reported. All the body work on both accidents were done at *** Poynter. Also, the Jeep was previously owned by a family member of *** Poynter. I wasnt able to add all this in my complaint. None of this was disclosed to me.Thank you.Peyton BeckerInitial Complaint

12/15/2021 I drove my 2013 Jeep Wrangler to Bob Poynter Chrysler Jeep Dodge at the address of *************************************************. I dropped it off in the front of the building in front of the sales department. I left and then got a call later that day saying I needed a heater box assembly replacement at the price of $3,000. I said I would call them back let me think about it. I called my normal dealership in *********, ******** and asked for a quote to do the same job and I was quoted $1,300. I called the dealership back and couldn't get ahold of anyone and luckily someone from the dealership called me back. They said they talked to their service manager and he said they could take $500 off the original quote and would do the job for $2,500. I told them that's ok I will be coming to pick up the jeep as my dealership in ******** will be doing the job for $1,300. I arrived the next day to pick up my jeep and paid the $130.00 diagnostic fee and walked to my jeep and got in and pulled forward and through the parking lot and onto the main road and I notice my passenger side hood latch was not latched. I stopped and latched it. Later that day I went to back out of the driveway and my shifter was broken as it rotated to the right side of the vehicle when the pressure was applied to put the vehicle in reverse. I went to the dealership and within minutes they said they would take no responsibility for the issue even after the guy that originally moved the vehicle to the side of the building said it worked just fine and then the tech said it wouldn't go into reverse when it was in the shop and they had to push it out of the bay which I was never informed of. Later that night the supposed owner called me and we spoke of the incident and he said he would call me the next day. As of right now at 3:30pm 12/19/2021 I still have yet to hear anything from anyone at the dealership to resolve this issue.
