I am being harassed by St. Vincent Evansville by inaccurate billing by physicians and the hospital. I have made multiple calls and sent multiple emails to resolve this issue. I have 100% coverage via three insurers. I do NOT have this problem with billing from other medical entities in the area, ONLY ST VINCENT EVANSVILLE. This has been going on since a billing from a heart physician in January of this year. What changed since 2021? A new billing service perhaps? I have been given multiple excuses, EOB to secondary and third insurance company wasn't included in claim. Accidently used BCBS Indiana vs BCBS Illinois. There is an offshore customer service number and I feel they are intentionally making this difficult playing dumb. If this affects my credit score. I can show harm in addition to the numerous attempts to correct this causing me great anxiety. Contracting out your billing to other sources is the issue. If you look at my billings in previous years, 100% coverage. No suddenly, NO coverage, balance due. St. Vincent does not get to throw this at me, when they are NOT billing accurately.Business response

Follow up action is being taken to resolve the concerns. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) ***** was very kind regarding the errors in billing and coordinating my insurance claims with all three insurers. Although it was explained by the outside service that this is regarding how my name is on all insurance companies. This is not accurate. No other medical services are having issues with my name. It is the failure to provide COB (coordination of benefits) to all insurance companies. I explained my issue is not with St. Vincent Evansville but with the outside billing service. I hope this will be resolved with the insurance claims being filed correctly and these bills cleared from my account; In addition to getting to the root of the problem. Better training for outside billing service. Communication through the outside billing service is absolutely awful. Whereas, communication with Evansville billing offices is appropriate, but their hands are tied as nothing can be done until the outside billing service does their job accurately.
