Contract signed on 11/16/22, with Stronghold Remodeling LLC.(*******************), for a complete master bathroom remodel. Total sales price, 39k, with 25% down. Construction began 1/9/23. Communication was awful from the start, we never knew when anyone was going to show up, and options for most materials was limited to *********** We, found ourselves filling the project manager (PM) role, because ******* (PM), was not on site, and with short visits. We pointed out the many flaws on our own (via text and pics). They were fairly quick to fix their mistakes, but their fixes were amateur. ******* was passive and indirect when it came to making decisions, and it was evident that his performance was not up to par when he was removed from his position, direct statement from *****. The project was complete with no final walk through, in fact, we have continually pointed out mistakes/flaws via text. *****, personally came to fix them, our sales ********* immediate concern was the shower door. In our opinion, it was not installed correctly. Everything came to head when the DOOR SHATTERED WHILE OUR SON WAS GETTING IN!!!!! An ER visit, *********** later, and here we are. They did install another door, which now leaks. They caulked over the tile where the existing holes were, and ***** offered more bandaid fixes. We expressed that the appropriate fix would be to replace the tiles, ***** sent an extremely condescending text and now refuses to communicate. The only document we have is one receipt (attached). ***** stated (verbally) to my husband and I, that they are under a 1 year warranty for their installation and we maintain the manufacturer warranties as well. The unprofessionalism displayed by ***** and ******* was disappointing. We have two different companies coming to give us quotes to fix all that is wrong. We would NOT have approved ***** sending our payment to financing if it were not for him stating he was paying out of pocket. We feel bullied.Initial Complaint

Contract was signed 01/02/2022, (started work 01/04), quote $11,900, (unable to make the main bath "paint ready" knocked off $500). *************** attached They "offered" to resolved some issues but never followed through No acct/order/tracking number Attached are *************** btwn **************************** & *************************** (owners). In the emails/texts are the items that needed addressed ie: problems with ends of flooring, loose thresholds, missing 1/4 rounds, chipped edges of flooring, bathroom sink/countertop (was supposed to be replaced), etc. They (esp *****) have been rude & condescending throughout the whole process. They didn't "fix" what they were asked to unless pressured and barely even then. Stronghold Remodel LLC has blocked me on ************ believe they have blocked my emails too.In response to the last text from *****, the attempts ***** refers to: 1) Show up & take notes (& measure countertop) as to what issues were to be corrected (that never were) 2) Measure (again) for new countertop 3) "Plumber" showed up with laminate to fix countertop, I already told ***** the link I had sent him was for the pattern, & was only for laminate not countertop. 4) ***** showed up with a countertop nothing like I wanted (was also to fix other issues at that time & didn't). The "plumber" didn't drill the sink, he used a hammer, (I was here), broke the sink bottom & bought a new one. While taking out the old he didn't fully loosen it from the countertop, it cracked the countertop (I had left by that point). ***** told him to caulk ******* would take care of me. I didn't receive a phone call/ text/email. I later found the "plumber" wasn't licensed. The shower door was to be removed, ***** said (at time of quote) there wouldn't be any damage to the tub. I was here when ***** took it out, he was in a hurry & used force & damaged the tub, when pointed out, ****************** it along with the nail holes left by removing screws. I asked him to epoxy it, he never did.
