Quote from master spas website, "Master Spas is committed to providing our customers with legendary support". The incorrect wiring diagram they provided has caused the motor to blow and they refuse to replace.Their customer support has to he some of the WORST I have ever received. the wiring schematic that comes directly on cover of the motherboard is 100% wrong. When calling in, they said that I was wrong and I also shouldn't be following the wiring diagram. I should be looking elsewhere at a completely different diagram. I asked Why include a schematic on the cover of the wires that is unusable, with no reference to any other source?? Not only that, I had 3 people verify the wiring according to how their factory wiring diagram provided had it laid out. After many failed attempts of explaining myself and being told No, I asked for another tech and a manager , and was also refused. Extremely poor customer support, I would recommend Never shopping here. There are many other reputable companies to useMaster Spas Response

We truly regret to hear that the unit was improperly wired when trying to convert from factory original 120V to 120/240V supply wiring (converting heater to 240V, for increased heating performance), causing damage to the 120V pump. From the contact with our customer support team, we also regret to hear that the electrical requirements and guidelines within the Owner's Manual were not referenced prior to install and commissioning the spa. During this conversion, we understand that the pump's jumper wire was configured to 240V output position instead of 120V (as the spa is equipped with a 120V pump). The wiring schematic within the spa control system, manufactured by ******************* can be used for various spa models and equipment configurations. Their wiring schematic provides details on original configuration when they manufactured the system, gives basic steps for converting between 240V and 120V and provides Setup tables which reference board level wiring, between configurations that either have all 240V or all 120V equipment (based on voltage of the components being connected). Their control systems also have a caution label, indicating to read instruction manual. Master Spas owner's manual provides wiring schematic as well as step by step points, that includes instruction to be sure the equipment jumpers are set appropriately.

Although we are not finding details for this contact linked to the registration record we have found for your ownership, we do regret to see the frustration and that you may not have been provided clear explanation either from our support team or possibly the local dealer. It is true that hot tubs can and will begin fighting a losing battle, losing water temperature, as outside temperatures drop. Size of the water surface area, current water temperature, outside temperatures and wind speed are just a few of the major factors involved in the physics causing the heat loss. These physics that control the amount of heat loss can amount to much more than the industry standard hot tub heaters can counter (for self-contained spas, operating on a total of up to *****A). In fact, freezing temperatures and having the cover removed could amount to heat loss demand that would require the entire hot tub electrical supply, or more, to counteract. Due to load limitations on the electrical and if there are 2 or more pumps in the hot tub, the control system may also have to shut off heating while multiple pumps are running (preventing the heater from trying to counteract some of the losses occurring).
We'd be happy to discuss details further and help with any further operation and product knowledge. Our support team can be reached at ************ or ******************************************

We bought a new spa that was delivered defective. Ive tried reaching out to master spa and the subcontracting company that sold it with no luck. Master spa gave me a number to contact and theyve answered only one time out of 15+ calls. The one time they answered was on a weekend and the receptionist said he can only leave a message. The receptionist dropped multiple unsolicited f words. Very unprofessional. *** sent emails, called, and texted and I cant get a response outside of master spa directing me to call a number. After being deceived by the sales rep I was hoping I could at least enjoy a nice relaxing spa, but the experience has only gotten worse.Master Spas Response

We regret to see the experience since purchase and delivery through one of our independent dealer, that the spa had incurred some damage to the outer skirting cabinet during delivery. As reviewing the initial notes about the contact made to us, it appears that you had been trying to work with your dealer to address the problems and turned to us for assistance. It looks like you recently found our last message, from 11/29, in your junk email. Our team appears to have received your reply to us, 12/17, and has made follow up this morning, 12/18. In the follow up this morning, our support team was looking to confirm details surrounding a new concern with the touch panel as well as providing order number for corners and local service contacts. We will continue to assist and look forward to resolving the problems so that you can get to enjoying your Master Spas hot tub (working with you, the independent retail dealer and an independent local service center contact to do so).

Beware the valves can fly off at anytime and do damage! I now have mold growing because when the valve blew off the water over 250 gallons hit the ceiling.Master Spas Response

We regret to see the problem that occurred with your 2018 H2X Therapool Deep swim spa. Our support team will be reaching out to help ensure this has been resolved or, if necessary, will help connect you with a local service contact. If a spa / swim spa is placed in a room, it is important to ensure all materials in the space can withstand high humidity and presence of water. Although we do understand a problem occurred, the normal use of a spa / swim spa will also lead to water runoff and high humidity during use.

I bought a spa in June. After the connection was made the spa leaked. I filed a report to their local warranty organization. They came out, looked at the leak and stated the spa inlet was defective and the spa needed to be replaced or repaired. They also stated that Master Spa was aware of the defective part that had been purchased from a third party and not normal channels due to Covid. They also stated that nearly 60 percent of the spas have this defective part. They warranty/repair service contacted Master Spa and they went around and around for weeks as to what they would do. Finally they said Master Spa would replace the spa. So I contacted Master Spa and asked when can I expect the replacement. They couldnt give me a date and said it would have to be manufactured and shipped. For months I have been contacting them to get a status. At last they said the spa had been manufactured and would be shipped. But couldnt provide me a date. They said from here on out I would have to directly contact the dealer I originally purchased the spa from, Hot Tum Emporium, *******, **********.So I sent the entire email thread to them and asked a status of when I can expect shipment and receipt. To date they have not responded.I think 4 months is absolutely ridiculous amount of time to wait for a replacement and the fact that they sold me a defective product that they knew was defective is a poor business practice.Instead of me chasing them, as a customer I would expect them to follow up me.Buyer beware! Master Spa is selling a defective product and set up a nearly impossible system to either get their product replaced or returned.Review from Eric W

Very dissppointed in master spas.I have had my spa for 2 months now. It has a jet that doesn't work. They told me I need to pay an electrician to disconnect it and to pay again when master spas is finished fixing the jet to reconnect it.It is their faulty product, and 2 months in they are not taking care of it.Where I work customer service is #1. Not at ********************** be careful. I would not recomend them to anyone. They don't take care of their customers and leave you stranded. Be aware.Master Spas Response
