Purchased $1800 in supplies from Shindigz. Usually it takes several weeks to get because big backdrops and personalized stuff. It kept not arriving...emailed, left messages for weeks that turned into months. I have used this company for 10 years without issue. Their phone stopped accepting messages and directed you to the chat but the chat on their website wouldn't work. No emails work. Now their website at literally says due to covid they are shut down and will not be responding to emails or calls and if we didn't receive product to reach out to the bank. The bank is telling me its between me and them because it wasn't fraud.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase from Shindigz in Sep for ******. After several attempts to reach them for a status of my order with no response, I requested a refund. They did not respond to that request either. Now I see they have closed for COVID and not monitoring email.Initial Complaint

Placed an order on 12/14/21 with Shindigz for Prom items. I received an email confirmation of my order #SZ94038 on 12/14. I went to their site 1/3/22 to check on the status of my order. Their website has been shut down and the company closed its doors on 12/15. They charged my credit card $1698.07. I have not received my items and have no way to get in touch with them.Initial Complaint

I purchased from this company 2 pieces of party decor in August for a December 4th party. In October I contacted them because I still did not have my items. They sent them a couple of weeks later.I went to set them up and there were no instructions for either item. The second item was missing a piece that you cannot use this item without it.I emailed, because they have no phone number. They did screen shot the instructions for both items. However for one of the items, the final 2 steps were cut off. They also said they would send the missing part express.I emailed them again for the tracking number for the missing part and to get the final 2 steps of the instructions. No response!! Over and over again I have emailed without response. There is no phone number to call them. It is either email or chat which is useless. I finally did get a tracking number for the missing part. It will arrive 4 days after my party. So these pieces are useless. I had to scramble and go to my local party store and try to find something. I ordered 4 1/2 months before our party so these issues would not happen.Initial Complaint

On November 6, 2021 I placed an order for 2 packages of 12 face cut outs for a total of 24 face cutouts at the cost of $71.24 On November 16th I received 2 face cut outs with no sticks. I emailed the company on the same day telling them we only received 2 face cut out. On November 19th **************** replied to my email and said they were sorry and that they were emailing the vendor to have them send out the rest of the order, order was never delivered and no one contacted us. I reached out to them on November 24, 2021 and asked for an update. NO response. I sent another email on November 30th which was my 6th email asking for a response and urging them to contact me as my party I needed them for was approaching, again NO response. I sent another email on Dec 1, *********************************** My party now is in 3 days and I can't imagine I am going to receive the face cut outs. Now I would like someone to contact me and refund my money. My order number is SZ85613..Thank you for your assistanceBusiness response

Our records indicate that a member of our customer care team responded to you on November 19th and then again today December 2nd. On November 19th they sent a request to our outside printer for this order to reprint the full order and ship it. The printer dropped the ball and never printed the rest of the order as they should have.
You were informed today by a customer care representative that we are sorry for not getting the order to you in a timely manner. It is unacceptable and we went ahead and issued a full refund today

Hello, I am requesting assistance in resolving an issue I'm experiencing with the party supply company "Shindigz". I initially placed an order with them on 6 Oct 2021. My order was supposed to arrive to me for an event no later than 25 Oct 2021 (which I had to pay additional fees to get it deliveredon time). On 13 Oct 2021, I contacted the company by email to inquire on the status of my order shipment. The company still had not shipped my order. I tried canceling this order due to the late shipping, however the representative informed me it would be delivered to me by 25 Oct 2021. It did not arrive until 2 Nov 2021, which I had absolutely no need for it anymore. I tried calling the company several times, however they never answer their phones and enforce their online customer support, so I have been back and forth for several weeks emailing ***************** of Shindigz, who initially assured me that she would make an exception of paying for the return shipping cost since it was their company's mistake. Now that I've attempted to ship this back to her, she is refusing to pay for the return shipping cost due to the high dollar amount as it is a very large package. She had me running around to several post offices to get the cheapest return cost. I provided her with the cheapest rate of $197 and she has now stated they will no longer make the exception for me. I just want to return this unused merchandise that arrived late to me, and I would like my full merchandise refund and be reimbursed for the return shipping cost.
