On Jan 18, 2023 I visited B & B Loan ** to get a loan on some items in my possession. My first visit I had 3 ******* Mens watches in the case and a gold wedding band with 7 diamonds. The most money loan I could get for the ring was $100.00. The most money I could get for the watches was also $100.00 only if I included the additional links for the Confetti Watch. I had the links at home and said I would run home and back. When I left home I put the bag of links in my sweatshirt pocket and I picked up a different ******* Mens watch to see if it had any more value. I also was bringing a **** Boom Box and a Game Cube and games. When I was driving back to FW I put my hand in my sweatshirt pocket and realized the extra links for the confetti Watch fell out possibly when I was digging out the Game Cube. So I entered the store with my items and put the Case with the ******* Mens watches on the counter and the sales person took them and started to process them and I took off my ring from my finger and laid it on the counter to be processed next. My other ******* Watch I found out had a small hand missing so I could not use that Watch. I also sat up my Game Cube and the sales person waiting on me asked another person to process it so he took it from the counter. Then the sales person was done processing my watches and I sat up my Boom Box and he took it over to be processed and came back after he was done and I asked if he needed a box for my ring and he no and then he said he didnt have my ring and I said I sat it on the counter? I believe he didnt take it or he would have processed it I think it had to of been knocked off when I sat up the Game Cube box or the Boom Box? The sales person searched the counter and behind and in front of the desk? Is it possible it got knocked off and rolled under something? I know my ring is in that store. We both watched the video recording and you cannot zoom in. A business of 77 yrs that deals in thousands of dollars sho

      Hello,

I have studied the video surveillance thoroughly and have also attempted to upload the video as an attachment to this response. I have determined that a ring has never been accidently left on our counter during this visit. I watched our customer's and employee's every move.

During his visit at 11:57:23 customer reaches in watch box, examines a yellow watch tag, and places it back in box.

At 11:57:36 customer opens and empties a ring box, but no ring is removed or placed on counter.

At 11:58:59 customer wiggles a ring off finger and tucks it back in loose hoodie.

At 12:10:16 customer accuses my employee for misplacing ring.

Again, throughout the customer's entire visit, a ring was never handed to my employee nor was it placed onto our service counter. We spent close to an hour digging through our store looking for said ring. We then watched the video with the customer trying to convince him that we did not misplace or the ring was not lost in our store. We called the police for him, and he filed a report over the phone.

The customer still trusted us enough and took out a loan against his other items as collateral, but I simply don't have a solution to remedy this. I can't replace what isn't lost in our store. The customer admitted to misplacing watch links and items falling out of his hoodie; it wouldn't be farfetched to think the ring was lost along with the links.

I am rejecting this response because:

The ring was removed from my finger and placed onto the counter.  It was never put back into my hoodie.  The empty box was brought in to place the ring into when I pawned it for cash.  Sure I went ahead and pawned my other merchandise for cash loan because I needed the cash urgently for a car repair.  Where is a copy of the video?
