Last fall, we hired A-1 Septic to service and repair our septic system. In April 2024, our landscape contractor discovered that our septic system was full and not working. On April 11, 2024, A-1 Septic came to the house to inspect. The owner verbally admitted to our contractor that " the job had not been properly executed. " In addition, the owner stated that " we did not want to do all the work and hand digging." They simply removed waste and no repairs completed. Our contractor then contacted ****** Services. They took actual photos showing damages and needed repairs (which were never done by A-1 Septic). A-1 Septic never used couplers to properly seal the pipes. On April 22, ******************************* sent A-1 Septic a letter outlining the situation, documenting the "shoddy" work done and requesting reimbursement for all expenses:$401.00 A-1 Septic fees to pump tank ( August 18, 2023)$2695.00 A-1 Septic additional fees to pump our excess waste. ( Sept. 18, 2023)$1800.00 ****** fees to repair damages $250.00 ******************* Landscaping additional expense to repair pavers $5146.00 Total Expense Incurred.Mr. ***********************, owner of A-1 Septic, refused to acknowledge the letter and documentation sent to him. Finally, he simply sent a text message to ******************************* stating that he refused to discuss the matter. We simply would like A-1 Septic to be held accountable for work NOT done properly. (even on their own admission). Thank you for your help in resolving this matter. We simply request reimbursement for expenses incurred.Thank you so kindly,*******************************

Our complaint is against A-1 Septic located in Franklin ******** We own a rental property in ************ ******** Our son rents the property from us, he is our tenant, we are responsible for all maintenance done on the property. We arranged for A-1 Septic to come and clean out the septic system. We made the *********** window from 8am to 12 noon on Monday July 20th, 2020. I realize that this is almost 2 years ago but when I talked to ******, at your office, she thought you might be able to help us since we have received multiple statements from A-1 Septic, dated this calendar year, see attachment. The issue. We set up a service window from 8 am to 12 noon, during which time, they did not show up. They did not call either us or the tenant to let us know that they were running late. We called A-1 Septic multiple times and left a message to call us as soon as possible. No response until the next day. Our tenant was home and completely available until after 1pm on July 20th. He had a doctor *********** and had to leave by 1:20 pm. When he left, he released his animals into the yard. After our tenant left for his ***********, A-1 Septic arrived and no one was home. They did not enter the fenced yard due to the animals. On Tuesday July 21nd when they called us, we made a second *********** window for them to return and do the job. Then the office at A-1 Septic called our tenant to demand payment of $195.00 before they would come back out. Anyway, after they told our tenant about the $195.00 missed service charge we again called A-1 Septic to try to resolve the issue with no luck. Then on August 10, 2020 we again talked to ******** at A-1 Septic and we finally agreed that they had dropped the ball on the missed *********** and that they would write off the $195.00. Then, same date August 10th, a ***** from their office, called us back and said no. She was quite insistent that we owed them for the missed ***********.
