I contracted with Lil Rooster to clear a property fence line and pond edge. When they were here, ******************* upsold me a spray to keep woody growth from returning. After I paid, I discovered some unfinished work and damage (to which they confessed). I didn't see the work until after they left was because **** was extremely angry --- cussing, yelling, etc. --- and in a hurry to leave. He threw his equipment around and sat in his truck, demanding payment. The next day, I alerted him to the unfinished work, including an entire section untouched. In addition, four sections of 4-string barbed wire fence and one T-post were destroyed. He admitted he'd done it. He also did not mulch, per contract. It took me and a helper a day to clean up unmulched brush and remove brush by the pond he missed. Because he indicated he wasn't coming back to finish the work, I let him know I put a hold on the check until the work was completed. At that point, he began making a lot of unpleasant texts and phone calls to me, in which he yelled, cussed me and called me vile names beginning with "B," "P," and "A. He threatened to "ruin" my business with phony ****** reviews from him and his friends. He threated a lien. Finally, he referred me to his wife *****, whom he said owns the company, to sort things out.It took nearly two weeks before she came up to survey the unfinished work and the damage. She agreed with what needed to be done and signed a second contract with me, stating that the work would be completed no later than Sept. 23, 2022.I have asked every week when she's coming. She strung me along with false promises. On Sept. 20, 2022, she informed me that she sold the company to ******************* on Sept 15. He, however, had previously told me he would not deal with me; everything had to go through her.I have two contracts with Lil Rooster that have not been fulfilled. I have 30+ photos as proof.I want a refund because they did not complete the job, lied to me and threatened me.
