The company refused to do the repair I asked them to do and insisted that they would only replace the engine and would not fix the existing engine. They recommended a person to get an engine from that would save me some money instead of buying a new one from **** with a warranty. I took their advice and made the purchase and brought the engine to their shop. They quoted me $5400 to do the engine swap which included all fluids, gaskets, etc and they said the repair would take about a week. They never sent a physical estimate to me just a verbal quote, ******* provided to my wife and I over the phone. ******* said that he would be sending over the official estimate to get my signoff on the work and that a deposit would be required of $3500 which I made payment to him over the phone and he never sent the estimate, my receipt, or got my signoff and just started work. It has been 9 months of constant fighting back and forth trying to get updates, being told they had other cars in front of mine, a myriad of constant excuses and lies, and I still do not have a fixed vehicle and they keep adding more and more charges threatening that if I do not pay the increasing bill they are going to put a mechanics lien on my car and sell it at auction and threatening they are going to start charging storage fees if I don't have them continue doing work. My wife and I have been down to one vehicle for 9 months now which has caused financial strain on us and limiting our income as well as limiting my ability to get to my medical appointments. The company and owner has continued to lie to us over and over again and intimidate and threaten us into doing what they want and paying whatever they say we owe them. After requesting a detailed list of all work and charges up to this point on 7/27/23 we found they added charges that were completely fraudulent and unauthorized. We are tired of getting ripped off and just want to move on, get our vehicle repaired by someone else and our money back

**************** brought us a nonoperating vehicle he had just recently bought from auction. He asked us to replace rod bearings in the existing motor, which would not have fixed his issue so we advise he buy a new motor. We gave him multiple suggestions on where to buy a used motor and let him choose which vendor to buy from though it did end up being one he suggested. **************** bought the used motor on his own accord and delivered it to us personally. After swapping the provided motor in, the vehicle had multiple fault codes. The rest of the time from when the motor was swapped to this current time has been spent trying to diagnose and rectify whatever issue has happened. We believe there's a short or break in the wiring in the engine harness **************** provided. Diagnosing this and tracking down shorts in a massive *** engine harness is an extremely complicated and time consuming venture. We have tried to contact **************** many times to see what he is wanting to do to no avail.

On September 30 2022 I took my car to Ren sport to get it dyno tuned. they had it for 3 weeks and it was not tuned after several calls and visits I was told to be patient. It was never completed, I had to pay a deposit to even get it in, included a car detail that I never received. I was charged for a exhaust that was never put on, after I found it was not on I confronted them and got a partial refund. Now that I've driven the car and had to run my own diagnostics, taken it to other specialist now the transmission is broken due too excessive wear from the high rpms and speed on the dyno. I was charged $3032.27 plus the original $350 to hold appointment. I would like a full refund.
