I purchased a vehicle from Indy Trucks on March 6th 2023, the vehicle I purchased was a 2006 ****** Tundra. Upon getting the vehicle home a front shock sheared off in a catastrophic failure on my way to work. Upon getting the vehicle on jacks and taking a closer look it was apparent that both front sway bar links were completely disconnected thus rendering the front sway bar inoperable. This is an issue that should have been extremely apparent to the shop techs when they worked on the vehicle before purchase which I was assured they had. A vehicle without a front sway bar especially a truck which sits higher is a safety risk even moreso on highways which the salesman knew I would be driving on to get home. The vehicle had excessive body roll and easily would have flipped if I had to take an emergency maneuver on the highway. The excess stress from the sway bar being disconnected is also what cause the drivers side shock to fail which has rendered the vehicle inoperable at the present time. I reached out to the dealership simply hoping just to b e refunded the amount it would cost me to purchase the parts I would need to fix the issue. Upon reaching out to them I was told the vehicle was an "as is" sale which was stated nowhere either on their website or by the salesman himself. They also told me the vehicle was old and it will have problems. Allowing me to leave the lot without a sway bar was a danger to my safety and everyone else I passed on the road on my way home and was extremely negligent on all accounts.Business response
