I put a stop payment on a Money Order that was stolen by my ex husband around the 20 of aug I went in person and kept the receipt for that day After about two weeks I called to follow up on the check that was supposed to arrive at my house I was told I need to speak to the manager in person I went to see the manager in person and brought my ID with me, he said everything was fine I would need to wait 30datys I called today which is exactly 30 days from that day and was told the paperwork for stopping a payment on a money order was never filed I kept all receipts from the dates of service Today they are telling me that they would have to reprised all the paper work seeing how they never did it originally I warned the employee who I think is my ex husbands side chick of the fact I kept all my receipts including the purchase receipt She said there is nothing she can do I believe this was all done intentionally Due to the fact my ex husbands side chick works at PLS on ********** stInitial Complaint

***** ***** and ******** ***** purchased a money order for their rent on July 19, 2024. The money order was lost. On July 21, 2024, ***** went to the PLS store to file a report that it was lost. He paid $50 to file the report and was told it would be refunded in 30 days or less. The attached form was given to the PLS. WE called the ************** to get the status. They told us that the *** where we filed the complaint had not submitted the paperwork. I called the PLS. I have gotten the run around several times. I spoke with many employees from July 21 to today and I get different answers. ******* was the first ****** I spoke with and he said he would call me back after he talked to his supervisor. He never called back. I called a day later and they said ******* was not working. I asked for a supervisor. I spoke with *****, she said they would look for the paper work and call me back. No call back. I called again and spoke someone else I said how about refliing the paper work. He said no we will look for it. I called again and there is a resistance to refile the paper work to get the process started. I asked for their main office phone number. The woman I spoke to said she didn't have a number but gave me an address. I ******* for the number. I called and filed a complaint. Someone was supposed to call back and they never did. WE called again and started that process again. No one form the local office or the main office has called. We don't know how to get a refund for the $975. WE need it to pay our July rent which is late. Would you help us get the refund. Another issue is the *********** said the stop payment fee is $15. ***** paid $50 and was not given any documentation. Today , 9-1-24, I called the store and spoke with *******. She said I have to come into the office to get information. I told her I have called the entire month of august and gotten information. I asked for supervisor. NO action at all has happened.Initial Complaint

I purchased a money order from PLS back in August 2022. I misplaced it & went back the same day to put a stop payment on it. Gave them my license which has my correct address. Somehow they wrote it down wrong & I have gone back to where I got the money order about 8 times to correct the *********** have called customer service as well about 20 times but yet I cant get them to send me my money. They claimed the check is being returned the couple of times they send it. How is that possible. They claimed to have recordings of the calls & yet they keep taking down my address wrongly no matter how many times Ive spelled it out.Every time I called they seem to make me start all over again from one day to the next & doesnt seem to know what I am talking about. Its as if I do not exist or they do not owe me that money even though I have the receipt.Please help me get my money back.Sincerely,*********************
