On August 9th a pair of my mother in laws slacks were dropped off at the Morellis cleaners on 146th st in **********. I was given a receipt for this drop off with a cost of ****. These slacks are white and were purchased from VonMaur for $130. The receipt number is *****. When my wife went back on the August 12th, the promised by date, to pick them up she was given a pair of black ********************************* jeans. She did not take the jeans as they were not her mother's slacks. The clerk at the store said there must have been a mix up at the plant and to call back in a couple of days to see if they had been located. I called on August 17th and was told that the slacks had been given to someone else. When I asked about called the person who had the slacks I was told that this person's phone number was not in service. I was then told that the clerk would put in a request for a reimbursement for the slacks. She also stated that she would call me back in a couple of days with more info as to the processing of the reimbursement claim. Over the next 3 weeks I made 2 phone calls and 2 in person visits to the store in **********. This was all a waste of the time as I wasn't given anymore information or updates to the claim processing. I was given the phone number to the financial office person I should contact, a ***********************. I left 2 different messages over the next week and received no call back. I sent 2 text messages to their customer service number as instructed on their voice message. I finally received a reply to the text messages asking how I wanted this to be paid out. I responded by stating a paper check and supplied our address to have it mailed. This was around Sept 20th. No further communication has been initiated from them and no check has been delivered. We are now at 60 days since these slacks went missing
