To Whom It May ******** Last year my wife and I purchased an ********* electric tiller made by this company. After only a few uses two of the tines broke. We have been trying to order replacement tines for almost a year now. The Supervisor keeps telling my wife and I the tiller tines are on backorder and they are on the way . He told ** late last summer they will be in the fall. Fall rolls around no tines. Then he tells ** winter, no Tines, then now tells ** Spring, yet no tiller tines are available. We paid $190 for this unit and we have a 2 year warranty through Amazon. We are very tired of the run around with this company and failure to provide parts. My family and I are relying on this unit to start our garden this year to offset the cost of food for our young family.Any help you can provide is much appreciated. Thank you for your time,**** and *************************************Initial Complaint

I have been attempting to have the warranty that is available on the $600 Scotts lawnmower I purchased honored. I called them when I discovered the mower would not power on at all several weeks ago and spoke with rian. We went through several steps with no success and ***** determined that a replacement mower would need to be sent. I was not given any date on when it would be shipped, nor was I given a case number, email or anything. So naturally after almost a week I called back to check the status since I'd heard nothing. At this time I spoke with ***** again, who was very rude and condescending and came off very bothered by the fact that I was calling to check on the status. He rudely told me that he literally told me when I initially called that it would be soon. He actually literally had not told me any status, given me any case number, nor did I receive any email. I let him know that and after trying several times, unsuccessfully to speak to a manager or someone above him he finally transferred me to someone named ***** who sounded just like him so I really didn't feel confident that I was talking to a manager or anyone other than ***** or another of his colleagues of equal status. About 8 days later I received a mower in the mail that was broken. It had not been packaged correctly with any padding and was either damaged in shipping or sent out to me broken, possibly on purpose. I called Great States/American Lawn Mower company again and got *****. Apparently he is the only one who answers the phone, which is unfortunate since he is rude and condescending and a very poor representation of customer service for this company. He sent out replacement parts for the broken pieces that I now cannot get on the mower, specifically the lever for height which is under and behind the wheel or inside somewhere as I am not a handyman or mechanic and am not able to disassemble lawn mowers and repair them. It should never have arrived to me broken in the first place.
