Please see attached emails. They explain the story in much further detail. Here are the highlights. -Traditional Tool Repair (TTR) charged twice to do a repair that wasn't done completely. They claimed that they completed the repair but the bander still did not work after each repair. They claimed that we needed to buy new batteries from them to get it to work, but we had already bought new OEM batteries that came from same specification and manufacturer as the original tool. TTR lost creditability through this whole process as we kept finding new places that they did not tell the truth. -When the tool was shipped back in December to us, it was damaged and crushed in shipping. Before they shipped it to us on this shipment they specifically (which we have in writing) charged us excessive shipping charges because they said they were charging us extra to insure the package. -They told us to file the claim with UPS for the damage. UPS picked up the tool and returned it to TTR. -After further inquiries and investigation where we were not getting any coverage or response we found that TTR had not actually insured the package like they claimed; instead it was insured only for the default minimum that UPS does of $100. TTR even told us that they felt the value of the used tool was $700 which is slightly less than I have in it now with costs to try to repair and buy batteries. -When I queried TTR about making this right they threatened to sabotage the tool and do nothing to refund us the shipping claim. -Now many more months have gone buy and they have been outright fraudulent. They were paid the shipping cost and the minimum on the shipping claim. Yet we were paid nothing and they kept the tool. They told us that if they send the tool back to us they would break it to be sure that we could not use it and it would be truly worthless. -Now much time has gone buy with no refund and no operable tool. They owe us the $700 as shown in the emails.
