      Contacted ***** an acquaintance at Bran Roofing regarding a new Roof on my garage. I paid half of the deposit $1,800.00 and then on Dec 7th of 2022his crew came out to do the work on my garage. I Had a rotting/leaking section of my roof they included on the estimate to be redone and slanted or something to allow drainage better. **** did the estimate and i thought we was on the same page. So they came out got the garage done in one day. But they did not redo the bad side underneath wood i paid an extra **** for. they also tried to tack the roof over rotted wood trims which i sent pictures to the owner to have redone right before i sent him over a check. i questioned WHY he wanted MORE money that day immediately after *** was supposedly done and i kinda knew him so i trusted him to make things right if not. Now he wanted $2,175 right away. He said "YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET?? Picture's of what my **** got me I beg to differ and am completely offended every time i rethink. Maybe a couple weeks later I text him cuz it looked like it was still leaking, he came out himself a couple days later and agreed right away i over paid. Said what i saw was ok and just moisture? He agreed he owed me money back in a text. They cut corners and actually put a new roof on top of ALL ROTTED Wood that almost looks like it bows IN? I played tag about even getting a refund almost begging for about lil over half a year. I kept a call log! He would agree to meet and leave me hanging or just straight up ignore my text. I last talked to him Sept 6 he answered and agreed he been getting my text etc and would meet me the very next day. But ignored my calls still after with no text anything! Its not right for someone like me to pay all this money to a trusted company only to have that company turn around and literally steal my money and then what i have to repay a Roofer in a couple years when its a problem again!? cant get pictures on my laptop but have many in my cell.

      Some of her comments are true. She was overcharged and I said that the very first time I step foot on her property after the job was done. The person that gave her the estimate no longer works with me and that was one of many reasons of why we let him go he overcharged people which was giving us a bad name. We have been in contact with her with each other to give her a refund but nothing seems to work with me or her at the time yes I am at fault for not giving her the refund by now I will admit that is my fault 100%. But we did not overlay any Rottenwood  the word mightve been stained from before but it was not rotten.

      i appreciate you admitting to overcharging me but you did tell me that in January too,  but have yet to make it right!  I even said to mail my refund but nothing came threw there. I just talk to you September you agreed but went on again to ignore me when it came to meeting up so im getting no where accepting fault with no action! I do want the $1200 at least?  Ive tried and was patient.   I had to contact BBB  just to get a response and hopefully my money! I feel like corner were cut and things werent dont as promised period!!!

      I will get her the $1200 as for cutting corners that is not true. The picture  of the facia was not included we told her the entire garage and facia needed redone the roof was just the starting point.   The gentleman that gave her the quote is no longer with us I told her that when we met that she was overcharged I am the one that brought it up about being overcharged. I couldve walked away and just kept my mouth shut but I was honest about it and told her face-to-face. As for giving her the refund yes I told her I would a numerous times but I havent had the chance and when we have spoken a few times I just didnt have it truth. Like I stated above I am the one that was honest about it and told her she was overcharged it was never brought up by her I brought it up

      Agree to most comments, but how long do i wait. *** also explained my need for that too. 
      The day they finished the roof, I texted you with some concerns and questioned it being more than quoted and I expected before i wrote you a check .  Yes you have reached out to me and said we owe you but then nothing becomes of it.  Ive even said mail a check?

      Ive been just patiently waiting and cant just go back and forth here! Please and thank you

      We had a new roof put on our house and our shop building in May of 2021. Right after they installed it, some of the shingles weren't laying flat. They told us they would lay flat when it got hot that summer. They did not. I called them and 2 days in a row a person was supposed to come look at the roof and didn't. Never called us to let us know either. So, when someone came out he said that he was going on vacation the next week, so he would be back the Monday following his vacation. He never showed, never called. I have called NUMEROUS times, and have only had 1 call back. I have two cell phone numbers and the office number. NO ONE calls me back. Meanwhile, the shingles are getting worse and we don't have any leaks now, but these shingles are guaranteed for 30 years. They need to be taken care of!

       Better Business Bureau:

      They have someone scheduled to come work on the shingles tomorrow, October 24th.  We will see if he shows up and fixes our issue.  They need to fix the shingles to our satisfaction.

      3/10/22 - Bran Roofing gave me an estimate on a new roof.4/2/22 - Bran Roofing came to pick up a $2500 deposit. The company rep assured me (1) my roof would be completed within 30 days and (2) may be sooner since they can slip it between jobs. I told him this was important as I am selling my house. He said "no problem" and left with my deposit. 4/28/22 - I reached out to Bran for an update. I was told to send a text and he would check the schedule that night. No response.5/3/22 - I sent another text. No response. It is now past the 30 day ****.5/8/22 - I sent another text. No response.5/10/22 - I sent a picture of the cashed deposit check. The owner, *****, responded that it has rained.5/23/22 - I sent another text asking when my roof was going to be on the schedule. They responded about the weather...again. I said I would like to cancel the transaction and get my deposit back. They responded that they spent the deposit on materials and assured me the job would be completed by the end of May.5/31/22 - I sent another follow up text. They responded "somebody will be there in a minute" I cancelled plans and waited. No one showed up.6/1/22 - I sent another text. The owner responded he sent the text to the wrong person. And that it is raining. And said the job would be done either 6/2/22 or 6/3/22. Also he was not happy about the weather.6/8/22 - I sent a lengthy text going into the detail above. And that Bran has not lived up to their side of the agreement. Also after looking over reviews, I want to cancel and get my deposit back. The owner, *****, responded back aggressively saying I "was on the list to get done this week but who knows now" Then the owner followed up with "I promise you do not want to start that ****" which I took as a threat.6/9/22 - I asked for my deposit back and to cancel the job. Or give me the materials so I can gift them to the new owner. No response.

      There is so much untruth to that the weather played a big factor in all this hes a guy that thinks his money is better than everybody else we have gave him his materials to him that he gave a deposit for and we have moved on.  The real reason is he wanted his money back because he wasnt going to go ahead and put a new roof on his house and he didnt want to tell the new owners that its not hard to figure that one out

      They gave me the materials after months of begging for my deposit back.  AND he hid behind one of his flunkies instead of acting like a man (or businessman if you will).  Oddly, right after my attorney assured me I would walk away with my deposit plus damages and court costs.  I just don't have the energy or time to fight with these idiots.  My money is the same as anyone else's but I am not going to let anyone steal it.  The owner admitted to having roofing jobs from last year and is still committing to new jobs he has no intention of completing.  They also severely underbid in order to get the deposit.  Basically ***** is cash flowing his business.  He points to the weather as an excuse and finally admitted he cannot find help.  I get that, but stop accepting new work until you get caught up.  And stop lying to the customers promising they will have a new roof done next week, or the next.  He admitted his communication skills are lacking as well.  Basically, ***** is a country hillbilly backwards hick who is lucky I had surgery or I would've taken care of the matter in person.  May still plan on visiting him to set the record straight.  According to the reviews, any job they actually complete have terrible workmanship and leak.  Then they ignore the complaints.  My problem is that I did not do the research online and read the reviews.  Why should I have to though?  A company like Bran Roofing should not be in business.

      In November 2021 we had ***** come out and give us an estimate for our roof. He came out promptly and gave an estimate. We agreed to it and he told us to put a deposit down and we would get on the list for early spring but in the mean time they would tarp the roof. We put down a $4400 deposit 2 days later and that's the last we ever saw them. It's now one day until June 2022 and ***** has still not gave us a time line on when the roof will be started. I have asked for my money back twice now with zero response. ***** blames the weather but we have had more than enough nice days that we should have been started by now. We are now almost into summer and we were supposed to be done in early spring.I understand things happen and it is a weather based business but we have been more than patient. I honestly just want my money back at this point.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
      This complaint was submitted well before the work was completed and well before the company got ahold of me. I had contacted the business owner via another method and they responded to my complaint. While the company severely lacks on good communication the work was satisfactory and completed quickly after they arrived (although they ran over my hostas, the plants bounced back) This matter has been handled and the case is no longer necessary. I appreciate everyone's time.

      Bran Roofing put a new roof on my house in 2020. Gave them down payment on 6/1/2020.They started and completed the job on 9/14/2020. Balance due was also paid on 9/14/2020.March of 2022 my exhaust fan for the bathroom started leaking during a rain storm.The next day it rained again, and it started leaking again. To clarify the leak, the exhaust fan itself is not leaking. The leak appears to be running "towards" the exhaust fan and dripping from the edge of the fan box.I went up to investigate, and visually seen nothing wrong. While up on the roof, I stepped on a spot of the roof, and that whole area moved whenever I applied weight. (Possibly a future leak?)I put a tarp over the exhaust fan area, and it no longer leaks.I texted ********************* about the issue, because nobody has ever answered the phone at the office, nor have they ever responded to my voicemails. He called me after I sent the text, and asked me to send him my name and address, and the issue at hand, which I did. This was March 24th. No response from *****. I basically texted him the same thing again on 4/12/22 early a.m., he called me later in the day, and requested I text my info to him again, which I did. Now TWO duplicate texts in the same day.He mentioned the rainy spring weather, and said I understood that, but it doesn't rain every single day.He said they'd be out. Still a no show. 4/27/22 I sent the same text again titled, "4th Attempt". ***** responded "Is this a job or a repair?" I said repair. He asked for the invoice number, and I sent a picture of it. Then he calls me and said they'd be out in a couple days. Still No Show. 5/5/22 I texted again saying I see his trucks drive by all the time and nobody ever stops. Texted again 5/11/22 and no response as of yet.The roof had multiple spots that were going bad and that's why we had the roof redone, but it had ZERO leaks before the repair. I've noticed that other complaints are very similar in content.I still have all texts and dates.

      Had a new roof installed including tear off, redecking, and new attic vents in fall of 2018. Within 6 months had a major leak in foyer ceiling coming from second floor area causing damage to ceiling and walls. They did come out right away and repaired the leak however nothing with the ceiling or walls. Approx. 5 months later learned that the attic had a leak that appears to have been since the roof replacement causing damage to the decking and insulation. Removed the insulation as it was water soaked. Promised to inspect. After a long period and several contacts, they did inspect and agree to repair in two weeks. That was in the fall of 2020. Contacted them again in the spring of 2021 and again were going to come out. Contacted them again in October 2021, they did come out and inspect and once again agreed to repair and identified potentially another issue that needed addressed and were going to be back within 2 weeks apologized for the lack of urgency. Here I am, spring of 2022 and still no repair. Ive called and left voicemail, and sent two text messages.. NO RESPONSE. I am at my wits end. If this doesn't resolve the issue once and for all, I will seek legal remedy for money spent to have a professional repair their mistakes and lack of knowledge.

      Bran Roofing put a new roof on my house in October of 2020. In April of 2021 , I spoke with the owner, *********************, about the roof leaking. Hes made many promises to come and look at the issue but has never showed. I texted him on January 3rd, 2022 and he promised theyd be out by the end of the week. No one showed up. I texted him again on January 24th, 2022 advising him I would be filing a claim against his bond and contacting the BBB. His response was let me check into it. It was on the schedule. I asked him to let me know when they would be out so I could be home but no response. It is now January 31st, 2022 and I discovered a new leak over the weekend. Were staring down a big snowstorm and Im concerned my ceilings may cave in! Please help!!!

      we did go there  and no one was home    my employees said they looked around but didnt see anythuing   we planed on going back but theres no way to get on roof with all this bad weather,but we do plan on going back

      I dont believe they came out to my house. I am home most days because I work at night and would have been awakened by my dogs barking. Plus I asked to be notified when they were coming and no one ever contacted me. If they did come as claimed I feel they should have notified me with their intent to return and I have heard nothing from them.

      I trust my employees and I dont think they would lie to me if they said they were  there then I believe them. I cant answer why she wasnt contacted but with the weather changing in the next week I could send them out there again
