      Terrible customer service I got two different shipments both were lacking product I had to contact customer service and they could not send out what I was due. They attempted to give me a credit for the amount of the items I did not receive but in order for me to use that credit and then to reorder I would have to pay shipping for these items of which I already did so. Yes I got free shipping but it was because I spent $75 in order to gain access to free shipping. When I called them about that they simply said no worries just spend 50 and you'll get free shipping to replace my $17 credit. So in other words spend 33 more dollars and you'll get your free shipping. This is not what I would call good customer service it's what I would Call a scam and I would not advise anyone to use this company. There are many other very fine establishments that sell plants that would be a lot more adequate for your purchases.

      Wish I could give zero starts. Ordered a single packet of tomato seeds and 2 garlic bulbs from this company. 3 weeks after the tomato seeds shipped I had to contact for a reshipment because they never came, I was accused of not checking my mailbox (which is literally attached to the side of my house, 2 feet next to my door). Finally received the tomato seeds. Got confirmation that my 2 garlic bulbs shipped, shipping number invalid. Gave it a few days thinking they hadn't dropped the package in the mail yet, still invalid. Waited 1 week after I got shipment confirmation before I contacted the company. Was told it could take 7-10 BUSINESS days to come. Waited, then contacted again, was then told it could take 10-14 business days. Needless to say, today is BUSINESS day #14 and still no garlic bulbs. Filed a charge back with my credit card company as they will only issue a reshipment and garlic must be planted within the next week where I live. Horrible customer service, they will lie to you, change their story, blame the shipping company. Anything that places the blame on someone other than their company.

      For years I have used gurneys seed company for my garden seeds and for the most part have had good success with their seeds until the Covid hit! Since 2020 gurneys seed has gone to ****!!! The seed Ive purchased for the last three years has been junk!!! Never again will I ever order any products from them again!!!

      Gurneys seeds and plants, the plants arrive half dead, then finish dying after I try to save them. The seeds had no life in them, an entire packet of cosmo seeds 6 sprouted...6. The plant food and worm castings seem to be fine. Try to get a refund and all I get is static...and a gift certificate... that doesn't cover anything.

      This is the 2nd year in a row that gurney took my money and never delivered. Says it was shipped but couldn't be delivered BULL. they never shipped. There track # for *** was not real. Last year same thing. Never got seeds or plants. Won't use them again. And if they sent them in the pass they were to late in season for small tomatoes plant in July.

      I ordered 15 pepper plants / 15 tomato plants/2 dill plants /24 sweet potatoes plants all dead upon delivery ??.dill had dead and yellow leaves or no leaves. since I am not sure if I will be aboveground after this year I thought i would be able to have 1 more pretty garden.but thanks to Gurney's that will never happen.if you are reading this PLEASE remember buyer beware. i have pictures of the **** *hey sell . Would love to add pictures they will not let me do that

      I have always likedGurney's but this latest order is my last. I ordered tomato, pepper and eggplant plants in January and March in packages of 3 for $17.99 each (that's $6 perplant).They were supposed to be shipped April 8--15.They weren't shipped until April 24, and when I got them they were unhealthy and less than 3" tall. It's too hot in Texas to plant seedlings that small outside. I want a full refubd. A couple of the plants are nearly dead and all are puny and weak. I wish I could show pictures. I want a refund.

      Gurney's must have moved to India, representative could not speak English to the point that she could be understood. They stated that most of my order was on back order. Why would a seed company sell seeds they don't have?. Order will take almost 2 months to receive, if it arrives at all. We'll past planting time in our area. DON'T Buy from them.
