Bad customer service experience I ever had on top of that the sales person wouldnt even show me numbers or anything when they ran the credit his whole attitude changed when I asked for more on my trade wouldnt recommend going here anymore and on top of that they wouldnt lower the price on the vehicle only to find out the next day they dropped the price by 3kReview from Julie M

Dishonest Service Manager! Not only terrible customer service attitude, cant get a vehicle fixed, cant reply to the prompted texts you get from them, he overcharges & keeps your vehicle hostage. Avoid ******* *. like the plague!Bosak Motors of Merrillville, LLC Response

We apologize for the inconvenience you may have had during the time without your vehicle. We tried everything we could to produce an issue with the vehicle when trying to submit to the warranty company. Since we were not able to, the warranty company would not approve to cover the charges. Our efforts in explaining failed, but we still understand your frustrations. I had to have my truck, with ****** miles, towed for a no start condition on November 24, 2023 into the dealership for repairs that shouldve been done when it was there just a week prior for active and stored trouble codes, which showed up a week after the heater relay recall was completed.On Friday at 8:20am ***** called me to let me know my truck was completed and ready for pickup.On January 15, **** with ***** my truck was towed back into the dealership for a no start condition, the engine turned over, again. The day prior the truck would not start leaving me to find another way to work at 4:30am on a Sunday.**** started out the conversation with how much he has in this repair, over $2000.00 but that I wouldnt be charged. Then we went into what is drawing down the batteries, according to the repair ticket the only things they looked at were my add-ons. They concluded that my dash cam was the cause of my issues. I responded, so you had my truck for over 3 weeks and you didnt even look into the no start issue, the reason it was towed in. The mechanic told me that these new trucks having the additional power load of my dash cam can interfere with the truck starting. So in other words these diesel trucks with two batteries and two alternators cant handle anything extra even though this truck is pre wired for all kinds of aftermarket accessories.So now unless I find and repair what the dealership screwed up then I anticipate have this issue repeated next time the engine needs a functioning preheater aka grid heater.This is not my first encounter with the service writers failing to properly write a work order and relaying to the mechanic what I want done to this truck, and then lying about it, which has caused a huge trust issue with this service department.I will never spend another ***** with this dealership.This service **** is truly incompetent at their jobs There really should be a 0 star option.Review from Dennis E

The General Manager of sales is rude and talks down to customers. I sold them a Jeep and they told me a pay off and a check amount, then when I went to get my check after I had to call them they charged me for the pay off transaction fee they had to pay which was not disclosed at the time of sale. They did not give me a copy of all papers I signed . Tried to say I didnt sign the one I was asking for. The general manger came outside when I was in my vehicle leaving making rude and inappropriate remarks.Review from Barb S.

1) incompetent mechanic a. held my **** pickup truck for 4 days before checking it, b. made excuse not to repair pickup truck stating gas leak, c. did not do alignment, d. did not repair gas leak, e. did not do tuneup, 2) incompetent staff a. should have known they did not have parts for **** pickup truck, b. should have cancelled appointment, c. took 6 days to notify me thus ruining my camping trip and deposit,3) wrote owner and filled out survey but no respond one month later.4) company trying to FORCE you to BUY NEWER TRUCKS.Bosak Motors of Merrillville, LLC Response

We are working with customer to reinspect vehicle to pinpoint exact location of fuel leak. Customer is scheduled to return to dealership on 9/6 to have vehicle inspected. Customer is concerned that cost of repair will exceed what the vehicle is worth. We have advised the customer estimate will be provided once we locate leak. We and the Customer have agreed that any additional preventative maintenance will be discussed after quote of main concern.Review from John N

Was never advised about 35% restocking fee for a part. $190 restocking for a $500 part that never left the shelf from the dealer. Horrible service. Always bought my parts from this dealer until now. Never againReview from Nicole S

ripped me off!! Bought a newer used car with minimal mileage and it started leaking oil within a few weeks, then gave us the run around that it would still be under warranty!! Come to find out they installed the completely wrong oil filter on top of that and caused permanent damage!!! No concern or follow up yet, I will be seeking a return of this vehicleReview from William D

Where do I even begin with this crooked cut throat rip off of a establishment. I brought my dodge vehicle in for a diagnostic test for my touch screen radio. Bosak tells me that there is a short in one of the wires and that the entire radio needs to be replaced to correct the issue. I was quoted somewhere around 700 something dollars but the catch was the lady told me that the radio is on back order and they couldn't give me a eta for how long it would take to get it in. She said it could take anywhere up to 6 months to get the radio in. I than contacted ************ ***************************** told me right away they could get the radio for me within 2-3 weeks *** and charged me a cheaper price than what Bosak quoted me. They asked me was the car diagnosed for the need of a new radio and I told them yes that I had just got it done earlier at Bosak. I went up there and purchased the radio for a grand total of $559.73. The radio came in exactly 7 days from the time I ordered it and I made a appointment to get it installed a few days later. So now I go up there and get the radio installed and after they install it I get a call saying it's still doing the same exact thing & that the real issue is not the radio & that it needs a new touch screen. They said the touch screen is separate from the radio and they are their own entity. So to recap I spent $176 for my bogus misdiagnostic test at Bosak which **** the service manager agreed to refund, I paid $559.73 for the radio, $180 to get it installed but ************ was nice enough to not charge me for that due to all this nonsense with Bosak and I was told that the ultimate thing that will fix it which is the touchscreen would be $1100. So I am still out of $559.73 for a total loss for a radio I didn't even need due to Bosak not doing their jobs correctly and I still have to pay another $1100 to get it fixed. They are unprofessional and a bunch of crooks trying to get over on hard working people. They don't care about their customers.
