******* auction company is the worst company Ive ever dealt with , and Ive dealt with over 50+, one of their main auctioneers named **** very disrespectful and unprofessional and the different auctions where Ive met him, bought merchandise in there, May 6 auction in **************** went to pick it up on May 7 was 22 minutes late on which I had called ahead of time to let them know, when I got there they were still there, but he sent me to the wrong location to start with, once I finally got to the right location they could not find my merchandise after searching for a while, finally found one piece, and after searching for a long time more finally discovered that the other piece was already loaded on someone elses truck getting ready to leave all total, I waited a half an hour while they found my merchandise, but they charged me $10 for being late even though I waited longer on them like my time and my drive is worth nothing which, by the way, I had a 45 minute drive Ill never buy anything from them againReview from Mark S

Worst auction company I have ever dealt with, and that's out of 100+. Auction manager is rude. My scheduled pickup time where they said they would have everything ready, I had to wait 40 minutes for them to find and gather my items. They only gave a 2 hour window (which they only tell you those hours after the auction is complete). If you don't make their small time window on such short notice, you get charged a fee, they then charge your card on file so that they can collect even more fees even if you were paying cash. They then tell you that you can get your items from 3-4 on Tuesday or Friday, which doesn't help anyone that works dayshift hours. They typically only display 1 pic per item without any description. After posting a review, they closed my account so that I could not even access my invoice! Avoid them and choose a company that will get more money for your items by having descriptions and more pics!

Thank you for your comments, however your story doesnt seem to add up. There were no lines or wait times for this event. Then you go on to say you were upset about the times available for people who dont make the loadout. So clearly you did not attend the loadout and in fact had no wait time at all because you didnt show. Per our t&c if you dont show you are charged a $10 convenience fee to offset the cost of having to send out staff to meet you at a later date. This fee can be avoided by simply showing up on time to pick up your items. As for the item photographs you are welcome to request additional photos if you need more information prior to placing your bid. Furthermore, we fully guarantee our descriptions so if any item isnt adequately described you do not have to accept the item.Review from John O

My dad was a hoarder. When he died, I was left with a commercial building and house packed with stuff. A lot of it was valuable or at least worth selling. I had spent many days sorting it on my own. I rented several dumpsters to filter through everything and determine what was worth selling. I wish I would have let Metzger handle it all from the very beginning (two years ago). They came in and picked through everything quickly and with care. They took what they could sell. They got a lot more from items that I would have thrown away. They were accommodating with my specific situation. They were professional and organized. Before I chose them to auction the estate, I made a purchase on an auction they had managed. I rate them just as high from my experience as a buyer as well as a seller.Metzger Property Services, LLC Response
