Paid when on boat then got a letter stating that I got off without paying . At time didn’t find receipt where k paid . So paid the fine of 26.plus’ 5 dollar for ferry ride . I found my receipt of payment and being going over and over with company for money back and they refuse to send my mo yes back . No number to contact .except email so wonder have many others they have scammed

I got on the ferry about 8:30 PM on 07/20/2024 and was told to scan a QR code to pay. I scanned the code and began filling out my information. When it came time to enter my lisence plate, I couldnt. It would not let me go any farther than that. I was told by the attendant that I had until midnight to pay. I arrived home around 10:30 and started the process all over again and made the payment. Yesterday I received a letter saying that I didnt make the payment and have been fined $25.00 plus the original amount. After a few emails, the fine has been lifted, but I still have to pay the $5.25 again. There is no way to speak with a person, only emails that are reviewed by a human. This seems like a shady operation to me and I recommend to stay clear of Metropolis parking services.

I used the ferry on 06.08.24 to crossover from ******** to *******. You could not pay cash and instead had to scan a barcode to pay. The scan did not work and I tried to contact Metropolis by phone which is impossible. After a long search I finally found an e-mail I contacted them because I wanted to pay the $5 ferry fee. I been going back and forth with them by email. After 20 e-mails I was told my dispute was closed. I did not file a dispute. All I wanted was to pay my ferry fee. Now my information was finally found on their website. They charged me $10.25. $5 ferry ride and a fine of $5.25 for not paying. What the heck? Why do I have to pay a fine? I contacted them ASAP. They did not work with me and now I have to pay a fine. I will never ever use their services again. This is absolutely ridicules that I have to pay a fine after I contacted them to pay my ferry ride.

On 4-22-2024, I-took out-of-state visitors to the casino, and I took their Ferry boat across the Ohio River, and back. This has been a free service for several years. After I got off the boat, they gave me a card, with a QR code, for payment on line, for Metropolis parking. I was surprised by this, and asked attendant where I could pay. He responded shoulder shrug. Next day, I attempted to get on line, to find out about the toll. I had no idea about any charges. I think it was going to be $5.99.There were no signs posted on the entrance ramp, at either side of the River. I was unable to access their payment page. It was only gave me a map of their location. I called their help line, and the casino to try to pay the toll. They could/would not help me, or allow me to make a payment. They said it had to be on their website. I tried for 2 hours, and could not access to their payment page. i argued that there were no signs posted. They threatened to fine me. I was appalled. I was referred to their dispute department. I called for several days, and e-mailed them ,back and forth, and one person said it was resolved, and settled in a few days. Then, I got an e-mail with a bill for $21, with fines imposed. They are a foreign country, and wanted me to put their app on my phone, and give them my credit card number. It was threatening to me, to have a foreign company extort me, and threaten me, and refuse to give me their mailing address, so I could send a check. I am very worried, because they now have access to my credit card info, and I have been victimized by a foreign company, used by a casino.
