This company goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. The Freije ************************* and ***** Freije were very loved in this community for over 4 decades with the quality of work they performed over and over through the years, gaining the upmost respect of their customers and employees they treated like family. We have 3 confused BOTS giving reviews and they are just upset they werent paying close enough attention to what they were doing during their visit at the Home Show, and they could not have really believed an ASPHALT PAVING COMPANY would be at fault because they ************ installed instead of asphalt by someone who wasnt with Freije Paving. Freije Paving hasnt been in business as long as it has by doing shoddy work, they have been in business as long as they have because of the work ethic they have had all these years in ASPHALT! Please feel free to leave your real name when lying behind a keyboard.

DO NOT USE!! I would give negative stars if I could. Completely unprofessional and dodgy. They destroyed part of my sidewalk and refuse to fix it. They sent someone out to "repair" it and the work was shoddy and incomplete. First they dodged my phone calls for months, then the concrete guy called denying any responsibility. I made the mistake of not reading these reviews before hiring them. My last conversation with the receiptionist resulted in her telling me they won't fix it and then hanging up. It was literally damaged the day the job was done and the blacktop is even filling in the cracks and holes so it's obvious that's when the damage occurred. Now I see others have had similar experiences. I'm going to pursue legal action, but I am warning everyone to stay away from this unprofessional and unresponsive company.

Freije Paving has shady business partners. And Freije Paving is a shady business.Freije had a booth at the ************ Home Show, and allowed a subcontractor who did small concrete jobs for them to stand in the booth, and act for all intents and purposes (down to a company business card with the contractors name on it) as if he was an employee of Freije Paving. This contractors name is ***********************. He resides in New Castle, Ind.Fast forward we get an estimate on having our concrete driveway ripped out and repoured. We settle on this contractor, at the time believing he was Freije Paving, and because the price was right. About two months before he did the work we realized he had gone out on his own. Still believing that if Freije backed him both by employing him (the business card with his name on it )and him being in the booth we went ahead with the job. IT BEARS REPEATING WE NEVER WOULD HAVE FOUND THIS PERSON HAD HE NOT BEEN IN A BOOTH WITH THIS COMPANY.***** subcontracted with Freije to do the tearout of the existing driveway.Fast Fast forward job is done and IT IS HORRIBLE. TO THE POINT THE CITY INSPECTOR TOLD THEM A PORTION OF THE DRIVEWAY WAS NOT UP TO CODE. We ended up employing a second concrete company and redoing the entire job.I did attempt to talk to both ***** and ***** Freije. ***** Freije said to me I knew he (*****) couldnt do the job. And yet he participated.I took them to court. Since my contract was with ***** the court held Freije not liable.This is a shady business run by shady individuals. They have no morals and they have no character.I wouldnt employ this firm or *********************** to do any work for me and I dont think anyone else should either.
