**** ****** ***  ****** ***** ** ***** ************ ****** We sold a 2010 Honda Accord with a clean Kansas title with the vin # ***************** to ******* ****** on February 10th, 2022. ********* mom came in and paid for the car for her since she was having a difficult with life, so mom was getting the car for her to get a fresh start and better ********* life. Then approximately in May of 2022, she contacted us saying her car got stolen and she left the title in the car and once it was recovered and released back to her from the Kansas City, MO tow lot she asked if we could get her a duplicate title or a copy of the original that we made when we sold her the car. The car was shot up and a homicide happened in the 2010 Honda Accord. Then she put a fake/ or different temp tag on the accord. She was out driving the car in Leavenworth and said she was doing things she shouldn’t have been doing. ******* then gets stopped by a Leavenworth County sheriff, her car then got impounded to a local tow lot in Leavenworth since the incorrect tag was on it. ******* then came to us saying that the car was stolen when we bought it and the tow company wouldn’t release it to her and only that last registered owner. She brought her mom and was irate and demanding us on how to fix the situation. Once we found this out that it was stolen when we purchased it we told ******* we would need to investigate the situation on hand. We then told ******* that if we investigate the situation and it comes back nothing as her fault, we would let her get another car in exchange for the Honda. ******* then contacts the previous owner, and they came to the dealership together several times making demands and yelling at us telling us we need to get the car out of impound for them. Pay for the Honda to get it out of the tow lot and give it to the prior owner and then give ******* another car.  We then contact a local police officer to help investigate as the incident report was very vague as to when and how the car got stolen from the previous registered owner. The prior owner left the car running with her purse and title in the vehicle to let it warm up in the wintertime. We had no idea as since the people that we bought the car from had a Clean Kansas title with keys and id that matched the name on the title. We Learned at this time everything that had happened in these several months after her purchasing the car from us that it had got stolen from *******, she was able to go get it out of KCMO impound lot, her driving around with wrong tags that caused it to get impounded. We told ******* that if she had gone to register that car in the legal time frame this could have been resolved once brought to our attention but with everything else that had happened and the reason it got impounded was not our fault for her putting incorrect tags on the car and got busted by the local law enforcement. ******* then contacted the Wyandotte consumer protection agency along with **** dealer licensing  and you at the BBB. We met with the Kansas Dealer licensing investigator on August 30, 2022. The investigator informed us the accord in the impound lot in Leavenworth was placed on hold by Wyandotte county as to investigate the car as it had a homicide that happened in the car. We are currently working on a resolution that will suit ******* and us on getting this situation handled.

I purchased a burgundy 2010 Camaro from Prontow/FastCash4Cars for the approximate amount of $11,500.00. Upon buying the car I was suspicious of the fact that there was no notary involved for the amount of money that was being transacted, and I was in question about buying the vehicle as I needed to go get insurance. They proceeded to sell me the vehicle quickly and only concerned with counting out the cash and as for the test drive they told me the vehicle was good to go. The day after purchase, the vehicle broke down, as I was arriving back to the dealership because I knew something was wrong with the vehicle. Upon arriving I was told by a black gentleman there that it was the throttle box and they were aware of the situation and that it would be fixed. I asked the man at that point if I could have my money back because I was concerned with the purchase and was told that I could not do that and that I would need to speak with the owner. The owner arrived within 2 minutes of me requesting him, he proceeded to fast-talk me and told me that the car would be going to the shop, I asked him why it would not be fixed at his shop and he told me, we do not deal with these types of issues, and he took my car keys and sent my car off to another shop, I was not aware of the location or even what business it was. He kept my car for 2 weeks, when I received my car back the tread on my tires was low and I asked him if the car was running well. He told me "Drove it like a beast, they know it runs good." Upon getting my car back he had run out the mileage within the 2 week period of the warranty. He returns the vehicle back to me and the car broke down again within the 30 day period of the warranty. I called the owner and he told me he and his son would resolve the problem by getting the car through their tow service and having it looked at. They picked up the car the following day and left me on the scene, and took the car to ******* ********* and put the responsibility on them.

      Business response

We are responding to the letter that was written on June 24 th , 2022 regarding the 2010 Chevrolet
Camaro Vin # ***************** that was sold to ****** *******. He came on May 10 th of 2022 to
test drive and purchased the Camaro. When he was here he was revving the engine so high that we
were about to ask him to leave so the car wouldn’t be damaged, but he purchased the car. When it was
time to pay sales tax, he refused and insisted that he used a Missouri address to avoid paying them at
the time of purchase. He was polite and very pleasant to be around. ****** showed up the next day to
the dealership saying his car wasn’t operating correctly. Demanding that we must give him his money
back and we told him that we will check it out and fix that issue. We grabbed our scanner to see what
codes it had but at that time it wasn’t showing any faults or codes. We explained that we were going to
take it to a shop as we didn’t have our mechanic that day. He had threatened us that if we didn’t give
him his money back that he would call the “authorities as his dad was a sheriff and have our entire lot
surrounded by the police, he also said he would call everyone he knows to come down and handle this
situation for him. He refused to leave or cooperate with us, so we decided to take the car to ******* ********** down the street at *** * ** ** ** ** *** ** which is .3 of a mile to get it checked out since our
mechanic was out that day. Once there ***** called saying that ****** insisted, we bring the car back to
get his belongings out of the vehicle. We then drove the car back to our dealership so he could retrieve
his personal belonging. During this whole time of yelling, cussing, and threatening us over this car,
demanding his money and we were trying to fix it and make it right. He then allowed us to drive it back
down to ******* *********** It was down there getting diagnosed and worked on. While he was here
he would be yelling one second than all of a sudden crying and pleading for help and how were all family
then throwing threats out to us and showing aggressive behavior towards us. ******* stated it could be
the throttle body so we called ********** **** ***** to order one. Once we received the throttle body it
appeared to be already installed on a prior vehicle, so we called ******** ********* to order a brand-
new throttle body from Chevrolet. We Got the new on from ******** on May 12 th and paid 238.63 for
the Throttle body and gasket with the part numbers of ******** for the throttle body and part number
of ******** for the throttle body gasket. I will include the receipt with this letter and information.
******* couldn’t get the car running correctly. We decided to take it to **** **** ** **** ******* ** *** * on Friday May 13 th , where **** was able to repair and make it run correctly. **** had serviced
and repaired the issues, we got a different ecu, had the original ECU re-flashed for the car paid **** **** on 5/19/2022 with Check # ***** For a total of $618.56 . We drove the car 9 miles back to the
dealership after it was repaired then called ****** to tell him that his Camaro was ready to go and all
fixed. Which during the drive back to the dealership the Camaro drove Flawlessly. ****** came and
picked up the car and signed a one time good will repair cause this repair wasn’t covered under the

warranty. On June 6 th ****** then showed up at our place of business say that his car been broke down
and someone vandalized it when it was in the parking lot of the gas station at **** * ** ** ** ****** ***** ** *****. He also stated that we must have been out driving the car cause it didn’t have much tread
left on the tires. The tires were replaced right before we purchased it from the previous owner. Once we
got there to tow the Camaro for him we checked the miles and it had about 2,000 miles on it from the
time of purchase. Our warranty is for 30 days/ or 1000 miles whichever comes first. Told ****** that the
vehicle is out of warranty as it has over 2000 miles on the Camaro since he purchased it. We told him
that we would tow it for no charge to him. While we were at the gas station he was causing a scene
screaming at us and we were there to help him. The employee at the gas station begged us to tow it
anywhere away from the property. ****** asked us where to have the car towed to get checked the car
out. We told him wherever he wants to take it we will get it there. The Camaro was about 2.5 quart low
on oil. The car had signs of abuse or neglect from the original state we sold the car in. The interior was
filthy and had ashes all over the interior with interior pieces being broken. We then towed it to
********* ********* so that their service department could diagnose the issue. We spoke with ***** ******** in service and explained what had happened with the car and customer. Later on the same day
he shows up at our dealership asking what shop his car is at. We then told him again it was at ********* ********* ** **** ******* ******* ******* ** ******** ** ***** and the phone number there is **** ********. ****** then calls up there yelling and screaming threatening them at the service department
of ********* *********. ****** than wouldn’t ever answer or return their phone calls from ********* *********. ***** had stated that they had been trying to reach him to authorize them to proceed with
the diagnosing of that car. A Few days Later ****** calls us saying he has lawyer and is going to take
action against us, at the time we said were not able to talk anymore if he as a lawyer handling the
situation. We then received the letter informing us about the complaint he had filed with the Attorney
General. A couple of days after receiving the letter, we were then contacted by the Attorney General
investigator ******** ******** at the phone number o* ************* *** ******** had informed us that
****** ******* was very familiar with the inside of a court room and giving us a heads up that he had
made creditable threats about doing damage to our business and Property. Once, we received that call
and ever since we have been having to pull all our cars that are for sale inside our shop so ****** ******* or his “people” wouldn’t destroy our property.
