      We purchased solar panels & installation from 816 Solar Pros. We purchased the upgrade to include a ******* generator they also installed, connected to our propane tank. The generator is supposed to come on monthly just as a system check. It is also supposed to automatically come on when we lose electricity from our provider. It has not come on once, including the several times that we lost electric power. We have contacted 816-Solar and spoken to **** and the Office Mgr **** ****** (via email, text and phone) and **** keeps setting up a time to come look at the system and does not show up. He has told us that he would get it working OR get another company to work on the generator set up. He apologizes every time but we still have not working generator. They completely moved all of our circuit/fuse box to the exterior of the house and have given us NO education about anything. We do not know why it was moved to the exterior, anything that changes as we do DIY work around our house, etc. That would be helpful, but we MUST have the generator working.

      We contracted with 816 Solar Pro to install solar panels on our garage in May, 2023 to reduce our energy costs. The installation occurred within about 10 days of signing the contract. The installation occurred on May 26, 2023. On July 3, 2023 Evergy came to check and to be sure our system was ready to go online. There was a problem with the installation: the boxes on the side of the garage needed to be switched. On August 3 the installers came back and switched the boxes but did not have enough wiring to connect the boxes. I have made 12 calls or texts to the project manager, ******* ******* and 1 call to complain to **** the owner of the company since May 26. We borrowed money to do this project and started paying on the loan Aug 1, 2023. Today is the second month I have made a payment and still do not have the solar panel installation complete. Heather said they would reimburse us the amount of the loan payment in August, but that has not been done.

      We signed a contract with 816 Solar Pro in the summer of 2021 to install solar panels and a natural gas generator at our house. The solar panels were installed in October of 2021, but didn't start producing energy for us until March of 2022 due to negligence on the part of the company, but that's not my current complaint. The generator was back-ordered due to supply chain issues, which we understand. It was delivered to our house in December of 2021, but has still not been installed. They sent a plumber around this summer to look into hooking up the gas, but we've heard nothing since. They do not respond to calls or emails, and we just want this to be hooked up before winter. My suspicion is that they under-estimated the amount it would take to have a plumber hook up the gas, and that the plumber's bid this summer was more than they want to pay so they are waiting for a better deal. We haven't paid for this yet, so I'm confused why they don't want to get paid for the generator they surely had to pay for last year. The really ironic thing is that the picture they use on the BBB site for their generator business is of the non-functional generator sitting at our house.

      We have the work scheduled to be finished on Monday 10/24 at 830a. ****** will cut power for us to do our work and return power to the home same day. I will call the *****s to inform them of this as well.
