On or about 07/23/2022, I went to the *************** Charlie's Car Wash which wasn't listed. My molding came off of my car as I pulled out after leaving. These automatic car wash facilities do not want to be responsible for ANYTHING that happens to your car in them. The things used in them are heavy! I had to wait 20 minutes for an employee to get a manager for him to take photos of the molding that came off from the back window of my SUV. Mind you that I hand wash my car at home from time to time, and I also spray my car that piece was NOT loose before I entered the car wash like they are claiming!!! All I want from them is to get the piece reapplied to my car!Business response

We want to investigate each incident and respond immediately to them. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. We received the incident report including your comment form from our Charlie's Car Wash in ************. The report states that your driver side rear window trim was damaged and you believe that happened during your wash. After reviewing the report, pictures and video with manager, although the trim came off in the wash, we are certain the reason for it coming off in the wash was not due to negligence or malfunction. There are several cameras recording the condition of your vehicle prior to entering the wash. On the video, you can clearly see the trim is loose prior to going through the wash. At the Welcome Station (where you pay), our warning sign states we are not responsible for damage associated with previously damaged items on a vehicle. Since the trim was loose prior to you rwash and there were no wash equipment malfunctions, we are going to deny responsibility for any damage associated with the incident. We hope that you can understand the reasoning behind the denial of your claim. Our offer for you to review the video with the General Manager is still open. If you wish to look at the video, please contact the location and setup a time where you both are available. We appreciate your business, and hope that we can continue to serve you.
