      I had a kitchen remodel. They removed a small wall, and old cabinets. They replaced the floors, trim and cabinets. Everything is great except for the floors. It is vinyl squares and is separating. You can see the old flooring underneath. I contacted the company in early October to let them know about my issue with the flooring. (I have a year warranty on the labor.) The job was completed in late October of 2021. They told me that they would make it good. I have gotten excuse after excuse as to why they haven't done anything yet. We are all sick, my daughter is getting married, you are the first one on the list and on and on. They even told me that would be at my house two Mondays ago and never called or showed up. I spent about 23k for this work. I just want my floor fixed.

          This is a minor repair that needs to be done. I have asked the customer to be a little understanding that we are a little short staffed, and as soon as we are caught up with work that was already scheduled her repair would be taken care of. I told her that even though her year installation warranty was up in October that I had I would absolutely take care of the small issue that she has. Even though I believe it is not due to the installation since it occurred 12 months after the installation. I only mentioned to her about people being sick and our daughters wedding because we are a small family owned company so when people get sick almost everyone gets sick. She will be take. Care of in a timely manner, as I told her she did not need to reach out to the BBB I am going to take care of it, I don't know why she had to go this route. I never scheduled the 23rd with her, I said I would try unfortunately the scheduled did not allow it. I told her if I was able to I would let her know. I can schedule a date for her if she wants, but I was trying to squeeze her in quicker by putting her in between jobs.

      Well they talked a mean game but never followed through.  I truely dont believe they will ever repair it.

         I had every intention on having the small issue she has taken care of by now because we stand behind our work but *** ******* has decided to go this route instead of having just a little patience while we completed projects that we already had scheduled. It's a shame people have to do this to small businesses when they do good work and are not trying to do anything wrong. We did a complete kitchen remodel, cabinets, countertop and flooring the only issue she has is a tiny little gap in the floor a year after the install.

         As I said to you in our initial conversation and your initial letter to BBB we have no problem fixing the small gap in the floor. The letter we received back said you rejected that solution that you yourself requested, we would just like to get past this.

      What I want to know is how long do I have to wait?  I was already told by your company that someone would be here on Monday two weeks ago.  No show No call.  I find myself very skeptical of anyone showing up to remedy this situation.  I was told by someone in your company that you were trying to figure out which employee did this particular job.  I told her who it was and she said something about a charge back??  I contracted and paid your company for the job.  The company owner has never even seen the finished product.  Your ex-employee did a great job.  Showed up in a timely fashion and never made any excuses.

        I have attached a picture she sent of her issue with the flooring; as you can see it is very minor.  I have told her multiple times and through the BBB that we would fix the flooring but originally she demanded it to be immediately and now she is rejecting it. If she wouldn't have started this route it would have been done by now but we have to go through the channels of the BBB. She can email or text me to schedule this repair so we can have a record of it. I feel like since *** ******** wants to go to the internet because I asked her to wait until we installed the jobs we had already had scheduled, it is in the best interest of our company that all communication be on record. If she rejects this offer there is not much else we can do because the install warranty is up and we are doing this because we stand behind any and all of our work. This is the 3rd or 4th attempt through the BBB for me to resolve this. She has both my email and my phone number so she can contact me to schedule if she would like to.

      I have been afraid to accept this remedy because I don't want the complaint to go away if he doesn't resolve the situation.  I'm not sure how long they think they should make me wait for this to happen. It has been two months now.  They have already not shown up when they said they would.  But if they don't show up, I will just file another complaint.

      I sent a text again on Tuesday November 15th.  He said the following Monday.  I told him I would be home after 10am.  He said okay. I never heard from him again.

           This is the 2nd time the customer has reached out to the BBB and not to us directly. The BBB closed this case roughly 2 weeks ago because I have offered I can't recall 6 times now to come out to her house to look at the micro gap in her floor. Please look back and the previous responses to the false complaint she has filed. I'm sorry but she is not being truthful. I did not agree to be there Monday did not tell her a time I said we could try if things worked out. We were extremely busy at the time and just asked for her to give us some time to catch up. She would not. We did a complete kitchen remodel for her and her only issue is a gap the thickness of a dime which we said we would absolutely take care of even though she is outside the 1 year Install floor warranty. In her last complaint that was closed I said I do not know what else to do, I kept offering to fix the floor and she kept rejecting it. I ended my last response before it was closed saying that I do not know what else to do, if she will text or email me we can schedule a time to come out. I prefer to have any correspondence in writing with her since she comes to the internet with false claims about our business. She has yet to reach out to me via email or text. She has both my email and phone number to text me. The original installer had major back surgery so he is out for about a year but I have other well qualified installers that can take care of the issue. I have asked to please reach out to me directly as I asked you to do multiple times. This would have been taken care of awhile ago if you would have taken that route instead of this lengthy BBB process of emailing back and forth through them for really no reason.

      My biggest issue is that they make promises to be here and don't show or call.  I am available on Monday's and Tuesday between 10am and 2pm.  These spaces in my floor are much larger than a dime space.  You can see the floor underneath the flooring.  They seem to have such a nasty attitude I am afraid of them coming here and giving me a hard time so I will only schedule when my husband will be here.  I spent 23k on this job and really want it to be done right.
