The transaction began on March 19, 2021 with a total of $16, 195.49 invested. Initial deposit was for concrete work, supplies, front porch construction with future investment for deck completion, shutter installation. The dispute is because the project has stalled and the business is no longer communicating with us. All promises that were given to resolve the problem have not been honored. We have now had a contract signed for 13 months and zero progress in 7 months. A resolution would be to either finish the work in full, deliver the supplies, or refund our money. Attached is a detailed statement, signed contract, images of written checks, and text message chains. We signed a contract with Kidwell's Renovations (****** *******) on March 19, 2021, paid an initial deposit of $11,795.49 on April 11, 2021 after HOA approval, had semi-regular contact when materials were being ordered and concrete organized. On May 15, 2021 we wrote another check for $4,400 to reserve a pump truck. In September concrete was framed and poured. We could not get ahold of ****** during this time. There were issues and concerns throughout the process but after ****** was available (6 weeks after concrete was poured), we had regular contact and reassurances he would make it right. We met with ****** in person on November 1, 2021 and he agreed to an inspection, supplies delivered for the porch construction, and a finish date of early December - "in order to decorate a porch for Christmas." Since December 14, 2021 we have sent 19 text messages with 4 short responses. All responses promised future communication or a date to expect supplies that never happened. Between every few text messages I would call and leave voicemails with no response. On April 25, 2022 he said in the next few days supplies would be delivered. They have not been delivered nor has he responded to any calls, emails or texts. We have not received anywhere near what we have paid for and the completion date is unreasonable.
