Dec 5 2021 I took my 2013 Ram 1550 into them for transmission issues. I had purchased a lifetime warranty through Chrysler and Chrysler denied the claim. I declined to allow Swope to do the repairs and they tried to jack up the quoted price for diagnostics. I refused to pay that amount and settled with them at 350.00. I went to pick the truck up a week ago last Friday and paid for it and after starting the truck it would not come out of park and said the shifter needed serviced. I called them today to check on if I could pick it up and they said it needed a new shifter and would be at a minimum of 200.00. I drove that truck on their lot with nothing wrong with the shifter and expect to drive it off and refuse to give this company one more dime.

After investigation, I determined that we failed to communicate properly with Ms. *******. Our poor communication only compounded the problem. With that said Ms. ******* paid for an engine and transmission tear down to determine what the problems were. It was determined that the engine cams were worn and that the transmission needed to be replaced. We submitted the claim to the service contract company who denied the claim because the truck had been used to tow a camper that exceeded the trucks capacity. While in our possession the shift module broke and we repaired it under her service contract and absorbed the deductible. Ms ******* has since picked her vehicle up and stated she will get it repaired some place else instead of going with out repair suggestion which I admit was an extensive and expensive repair quote.

Dealer was supposed to pay off and release Lien on trade in vehicle agreed on 12/10/2021. The dealer was furnished a 14 day payoff and has neglected to pay their agreed amount and release the lien on the vehicle. The trade in vehicle was posted for sale on 12/10/2021 on the dealers web site. Interest is accruing daily on the vehicle which I am responsible for until the lien is released. The funds for the new vehicle have been released to the dealer, yet they still have not attempted to pay off the trade in that they agreed to pay for in the amount of $10,286.08 (see attached document) I have made repeated attempts to contact the dealer through sales and attempted to contact finance with no return calls. This can be resolved immediately if the dealer will fulfill their signed obligation in this matter and pay the $10,286.08 they owe on the trade in vehicle.

A check was mailed to the lien holder on 12/14/21 for $10286.08 as specified. The bank has confirmed they received the check and have posted it to the account. The check was mailed within 2 business days of the vehicle transaction date of 12/10/21. Swope Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram fulfilled its contractual requirements regarding the trade in vehicle pay off and did so in a prompt manner. We have reached out to the bank but cannot obtain any information regarding the account other than the confirmation that the check was received and applied to the account. If Ms. ****** would like to discuss the matter further please contact **** ***** *** at ************ or ******************

On November 8th 2021 I traded in my 2021 Bronco for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The deal was made, papers were signed. And the dealership agreed to pay off my existing loan in the 14 day pay off window via **** ******* (this is who my loan was through). No attempt to pay off our prior loan has been made, even after reaching out and inquiring about this several times over the last 32 days. The most recent interaction was that the "check" was sent out Monday 12/06/2021 and **** ******* will have that payment by 12/08/2021 at the latest. I am now writing you on 12/10/2021 and the dealership now has said they are unable to keep receipts when they mail checks out so there is now way to show us "proof". Now, the story goes the check actually wasn't mailed out until Tuesday 12/07/2021. Again, they could show us no "proof" because they do not keep records of their checks. I have now incurred late fees, as well as will have to pay another payment on this vehicle I am no longer in possession of.
