Purchased a car from Mercedes Benz Ft Mitchell in 2023, and after I signed the paperwork they added additional tire insurance to my paperwork, after I told them I did not want it. I did not catch their funny business til time to make my first payment when I noticed my payment had gone up. Fort Mitchell was forced to reimburse me, and when I gave them low scores on their survey, they begged me to change their scores. Buyer Beware at Ft Mitchell Mercedes! I have purchased vehicles at both Kenwood and Ft Mitchell and I would never purchase from Ft Mitchell again or have my car serviced there, the same with your service bills, watch them! If you are looking for a Mercedes I recommend West Chester or Kenwood..Stay away from Ft Mitchell!!!Mercedes-Benz of Fort Mitchell Response

Hi *****, I am shocked at this review. First of all, you purchased a certified GLA250 in August of 2023, it's now August of 2024. I also looked at every piece of paperwork that you signed back then and saw nothing shady of the sort. We also videotape the entire paperwork signing, which I just watched, twice. There was no "shady" practice at all. You were presented with options to buy your car, with and without extended warranties and rim protection. Are you saying that adding a product that costs money isn't supposed to increase your payment? That is actually simple math. If you add something of value, it has a cost, and that cost increases your payment or your bill. Lastly, you are flat-lying saying that anyone at this dealership changes figures after you sign for something. First, it's impossible the way that we have our computers set up, and second, in order to add anything, we would have to ask you to resign your bank contracts and other paperwork. You clearly didn't do that either. Weirdly, I just found out that the REAL reason you sent this bad review is as follows: Your daughter, **** ****** drove my loaner car against our distance policy to *** ****** Michigan, over 250 miles away. She got into an accident, and we told you that you needed to get my vehicle towed back here and that you must start an insurance claim, period. Sorry, actions have consequences in the adult world. Dear **** I have a couple of complaints with Mercedes Benz of Fort Mitchell and I am responding after the continuous poor treatment. REGARDING the "Extra Charges" I have email communication between the Sales Manager, Craig and myself regarding the "Extra Charge" that were made after I signed the paperwork, as well as, a copy of the check I received from Mercedes correcting the issue. So, I'm so happy to see you have video of the the signing, then you should clearly see that I said NO, to any additional insurances, including TIRE! So, as you can image I was shocked, when it mysteriously showed up in my paperwork. Additionally, Management agreed, which is why I was reimbursed with a check! As a Customer of 10 Years, this is the WORST experience I have ever had. The way you treat your customers when they have a complaint is simple unacceptable. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at the Fort Mitchell dealership/service and the way I have been treated at your dealership is the Customer Service in the Mercedes business! Thank you for mentioning my future, second complaint regarding the use of the loaner car. Please get your FACTS straight regarding the mileage. Mercedes towed it to Michigan because there were no other Mercedes dealerships with a "Lock Box" that were close (within the 200 miles limit) of where my daughter was, so Mercedes made the decision to tow it another 100 miles away! Not my daughter, she was following the direction of Mercedes! That is why it was over 200 miles. These are the facts, and the way you handled the accident, in which another car hit my daughter, is just HORRIBLE business. But, I will issue another complaint regarding this subject, with receipts to back it up too. DO BETTER MERCEDES BENZ OF FORT MITCHELL.!Customer Response

Additionally, I would like to add the check I received from Mercedes Benz Fort Mitchell, is in the exact amount of the Tire Insurance and I'm confident that the reason I received the reimbursement for the Tire Insurance, was because they went back and watch the Video Tape and clearly see that when I was presented with all the "Extra" Insurance options, I clearly said NO! Also, I vividly remember the conversation where the Finance Manager, responded "Oh, I'm surprised, most people at least get the tire insurance" and I again replied, no thank you! So, you can imagine my surprise when it was added to my cost, without my consent. Now, hearing there is a video clearly explains why I was reimbursed by Mercedes of Fort Mitchell, because they know, clearly what they did and the way Fort Mitchell treats their customers, without the video, I would not have received the reimbursement, and that I am certain of.Customer Response

Additionally, ***, I did not resign paperwork, as YOUR way around the shady practice was to reimburse me the amount of the insurance via the check and my paperwork remained the same. If you would like correspondence between myself and Craig, I'm more than happy to share.Review from G. L.

We have had issues in the past with services not being explained. I decided against my better judgement to schedule service once again in the hopes that things would be better. The appointment was scheduled over the phone. A day of work was adjusted to take the vehicle there during lunch and return to work. After arriving and getting checked in, my partner was told we had an issue with our previous service and we are no longer welcome at their dealership for service. When I was upset on my previous experience they had 3 different people contact me on my review and nothing ever came of it. This vehicle was purchased from here but now, due to me being upset our last visit and writing a review we are no longer welcome. update 2 hours later:Have been called two times saying I missed my appointment and if I would like to reschedule. Hello whoever, You really should be more professional and discuss facts and not someones character. You have no idea what anyone has been through. I do get upset easy, hence I didnt come out or want to speak on the phone with anyone. I do see a therapist for issues after I returned home. Should I announce that I have some mental issues from PTSD? Maybe try being polite and understanding before you blast someones character.Review from D. R.

Hi ***** totally incorrect, I have spoken to your husband almost immediately after he called and offered him a solution. He declined it, did he check with you? My offer still stands if you want it, "assuming there is no impact damage, I will pay for your gas, give you a hotel here in NKY at no charge, replace your headlight, and pay for your gas back. Even ******** couldn't get you on the phone since October the only time you responded is when we left a bad review on ******* As for your offer the answer is no do the right thing and either send us a check or send it to a ******** of our choosing. We can take pictures again of the car so you can see that we didn't damage it or we can take it to ******** and have them do it. we bought a sprinter van from this dealership and the biggest problem with this dealership is they do not want to communicate and the van they sold me had lot of problem while driving on the road if you conext to a equivalent and bigger vehicle and if you accelarate to over take the vehicle the vehicle will loose control on the rear end never was informed by the dealer that there is a problem with this secondly no owner's manual was provided to figure out problems if it occurs no oil change maintenance was done no transmission service was done it looks the transmission is slipping while we overtake another vehicle now on top of all the problem they bought this van from previous owner but didnt do vin verificationand now ***************** ihas rejected to register the van because vin verification has not been done loosing business because of their mistake my loss till now is close to ***** because their title department goofed up
