i had my car towed to a mechanic shop because it wouldnt start, they repaired it and i picked it up on a friday, drove it to work friday, drove it saturday and sunday, drove it to work monday and the car was smoking as i pulled in the parking lot. i called the mechanic that worked on it because he told me his work has a year warranty, and they towed it back to his shop, it has now been 2 weeks and a thousand excuses as to why it hasnt been worked on, its costing me rental and uber to get to and from work, and i feel like theyre not in a hurry to fix it because whatever happened is theyre fault and they know theyre not getting paid to fix it so theyre taking theyre time. i want to know what can i do to put a little fire up under them? i went there today because he told me friday he was going to put it up on the rack first thing this morning, and its still sitting in the same spot, and he said if i wanted to take it i could, so i asked why would i do that? i feel like whatever is wrong its something theyre shop done. the mechanic told me it was a bad ground that was causing the problem, they had previously replaced the starter, and some blower, which are both electrical parts and i was charged $2300, and 2 days later this happenedCustomer response
