A representative from Parker plumbing came and ogered the sewer line without any result and they charged 390.00. They told me to call ***. *** eval and said there was grease in the sewer line that should have been taken care of by the plumber. When I called Parker Plumbing they said if they come back out it’d be 1500.00 more dollars to take care of the problem. I find this unacceptable !! Please let me know f the resolution. The lady that lives in the house ***** ******* called us on 07/23/22 a Saturday and said her sewer was backing up in her basement. Me and one other guy went to her house and tried to unstop her sewer for 2 hrs using a large sewer machine. we could not get it unstopped. We advised Ms ******* that her next step was to dig up the sewer line outside and install a 4" cleanout so we could use a larger sewer machine or a water jet. But first I told her to contact *** to check there sewer tap. Might save her a lot of money. She said that was fine and ask me how much she owed us I gave her the bill she paid us. Then she told me she had a landlord and he refused to pay for anything. We charged for our time and equipment used and a service charge for 2 men on the job. We told her what they needed to. We can't proceed on a job unless we have authorization to do so. But we do charge for our time. This job was done on a Saturday it should have been overtime rates but we charged regular rates. The person that filed the complaint is the Landlord that doesn't want to pay anything. I talked to him told him what the cost was to get the sewer opened up. $1500 he didn't want to pay that. Told me he wanted a refund for what Ms ******* had paid us. I said no.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.No I am not happy w this response. We did not get any resolution of
the problem for 390.00. Almost 400.00 dollars for a job w no resolution is
way out of line. I hired another plumber who dug the yard, cleaned the line and put a clean out in the yard for 650.00 total !!! I feel this dispute is justifiable!! After Parker plumbing charged 390.00 w no resolution of the problem they stated it’d be 1500.00 to dig the yard and put a clean out in the yard. What do they have to say about that !!
