      On or about August 03, 2023* ****** **** ( Rabb’s A Plus heating and air) and myself (***** *******), agreed upon prices and services for installation and repair of two heating and air units. I, ***** ******* accepted the cost for the repairs and installation of the two units. I, ** ******* presented ** ****** **** with a check for three thousand dollars, on August 05, 2023. ** **** was paid in full before he ever began working. ** **** started the job, a week after receiving payment. However, when ** **** finally started to do the work in which he was paid to do, he would show up for a few hours here and there until he eventually stop showing up. After calling ** **** a few times to request a time frame for which he planned to return to finish the work that he was paid in full to do; ** **** would lie about coming until he eventually stopped accepting phone calls and text messages. ** **** would purposely ignore my calls after taking my money. I would rather NOT continue business with ** ****** **** any further. However, I am requesting that half of the funds be refunded because the work was not completed. ** **** took my money and ran off.

      My name is ****** **** and I did install 2 ac units for Mr. ******* and the units was 10 years old and had been setting out unprotected with dirt dauber nest in the freon lines and pine straw and leaves covering them. I told him that there was no guarantee that the units would run.I did my job and completed the job that he paid me to do anything else that needed to be done to those units would be extra work and money .I refused to do any other work on those units because they were so old and wasn't taken care of prior to me installing them.

      I am rejecting this response because: Mr **** isn’t being truthful. Mr **** reached out to me on October 27, 2023 and October 28, 2023 in an attempt to resolve the issue. However, because I stated to Mr **** that I was no longer willing to do business with him, he became upset. Mr **** started to rant about why he wasn’t able to communicate nor complete the job. Mr **** stated that he had gotten hurt. In my opinion, that wasn’t a valid reason to not comment. Mr **** continues to use the age life of the units as his defense. As I stated before, Mr **** was given the opportunity to see the units and their condition before accepting the job and my money.Mr **** saw the units in person.  Mr **** stated that “I am a air conditioning guy, I can fix it”. Once Mr **** and I discussed my expectations and agreed upon it, I paid Mr **** in full. Upon receiving my complaint letter, Mr **** reached out. I had no interest in continuing business with someone who has already ripped me off. Here in this text message, you can read where Mr **** reached out to attempt to validate why he had went missing and to try and negotiate. If in fact what Mr **** stated in his last response were true, why send several messages to try and have me purchase a part in which Mr **** stated prior to, that he had already ordered. Mr **** continues to contradict himself with the back and forward lies. I have more than enough proof to move forward to small claims court. During this process, I have found that I am not the first victim of Mr ****. All parties have agreed to speak on my behalf during Court. We can end the back and forward discussion if we can not mutually agree on this matter; and allow the Courts to decide.

      I've been an AC Technician for 15 years and I've never have a complaint about installing an AC unit until now. I'm not gonna keep going back and forth about this complaint . I have over 50 clients that is willing to testify on my behalf so do what you fill led to do when I know that I never got upset and I did the job that I was paid to do. You have to be a very Stupid person to pay $500 for 3 used units that are 10 years old or older  that has been setting outside unprotected from the elements that length of time and put them in a brand new building. I installed 2 of them and got one  working and the other one needed parts ,I installed them as he want but there was no guarantee that they would work because of the age and the condition they were in. I guess that's what I get for trying to do a favor for someone I thought was a friend. See you in My Brother!
