We did everything we were told to when purchasing home. The home had alot of damages upon delivery and Tilleys said they turned it over to Tru Homes. I keep reaching out to Tru Homes and the only answers I have got is their contractor took the supplies. I was told 3 months ago that they would be in touch in a couple weeks again. And still have not got the contractor back out to finish the repairs that were supposed to be done when home was delivered in May of 2022. That is 14 months of hassle trying to get the damages that Tilleys setup man said were documented before they delivered the home. We still have not got the repairs done, no contact from Tru Homes after repeated emails now, and we are paying a large amount for a home that wasn't in the condition it was supposed to be being brand new. We want the repairs finished. If they decide they won't finish I am printing off all correspondence with tilleys and Tru homes and will turn them over to my attorney. This isn't right not fixing damages that were done when delivered and setup by company.Business response

Good Afternoon BBB,
I have researched my records for the information pertaining to ***** ***** and have found no customer file under this name. My dealership is on Mansfield Rd. in Shreveport and I found that this home/customer was purchased at Greg Tilley's Bossier Mobile Homes in Bossier City, I verified this with them as well and they confirmed it was their customer. Can you please let me know how you would like me to proceed at this point. I am emailing Bossier Mobile Homes the complaint and supporting documentation so they can contact the Manufacturer to try and get a resolution for the homeowner as quickly as they can.

I bought a home from them in 2019. The home is 3 years old and the roof is leaking. Has been for a year now. I had a contractor come out and look at my roof and he stated that it was a horrible job and just thrown together. I have contacted Tilley's maintenance department, talking to ******** Nothing has been done. She won't even call me back. She states that they probably won't do anything about it. I paid around $150,000 for this home and the roof starting leaking 2 years after having it. Probably longer, it just now made its way through the ceiling and Sheetrock.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/15) */ To whom it may concern, I am confused about no contact with me, when I have emails and recorded phone call conversations with Mr. *********. I have spoke with the manufacturer of the home as well and we have called for a state inspection on this home. If something was incorrectly done at the time of build, delivery, or setup the home would have immediately started leaking, also there would be a major issue with the home if it had been leaking for two years. I have reviewed the recorded conversation with Mr. ********* and in the phone conversation he states his roof started leaking one year ago around the time our facility was shut down for 10 days due to the snow/ice storm, this phone call was recorded on 3/3, Mr. ********* called from XXXXXXXXXX. Like we told him we would call for a state inspection on his home, not sure if he has contacted the manufacturer of the home as well. I also requested for the manufacturer to mail the homeowner a PDF in email on how to maintenance home since he stated he has never done any type of maintenance to his home since he purchased it. Mr. ********* should be contacted by the state for his date of inspection. Thank you and have a blessed day! Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have had roofing contractors that have 30 plus years in the business tell me that my roof is the worst they've ever seen. Also, a small leak can go undetected for numerous years. I have pictures of the roof after the shingles were tore of to patch the leak. The decking is not even flush. The valleys are a foot off from where they should be. My contractors assure me I probably have more leaks, but I just haven't seen them yet. They advise the whole roof be re-done. I just want my roof fixed. I paid a lot of money for this house and the roof shouldn't be leaking after a couple of years. "Roofing maintence" wouldn't have prevented this according to my contractors. They say it's entirely put together wrong. I have emailed Tilley's pictures of the roof. There is no way they can't see that it's messed up. Thank you. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/03/25) */ We have called for a state inspection with the State of Texas and have been in contact with Southern Energy Homes and will now be waiting on the state to give us a date of inspection.Initial Complaint

Also Tilley's has been paid in full and it seems as if my home has been pushed to the side. Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/09) */ Mrs. *****'s home was delivered to her property 10/26/21, it was set 12/13/21. Our procedure here at Greg Tilley's is that the home must have power, water, and sewer lines for the home to be completely finished on the inside. We went ahead and started the inside of Mrs. *****'s home in January and they should almost be finished with the trim out even though she does not have power. Mrs. ***** stated when I talked to her on January 25th that the power company would not accept her pole and that they have her on the list for a pole put in by their contractor. All Mrs. ***** is waiting on is power for us to complete her trim out, but we cannot move any further without the power company. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Power water sewer lines was the responsibility of Tilley's. I was told by my salesperson that Tilley's would take care of power water sewer the only thing I would be responsible for was the gas. I was charged for power water sewer lines by Tilley's. The pole that was put up at my home was put up by Tilley's contractor not mine. I was charged and paid for power water sewer lines to be done by Tilley's. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/02/25) */ I talked with the salesman Mr. ***** and he stated that the power has been connected according to the contractor **** with ****'s Plumbing. As for the water lines they are are re-hooks from her previous water lines and have busted twice and as a courtesy the contractor has replaced them for Mrs. *****.Initial Complaint

We purchased a brand new home from ******'s for my soon to be 89 year old grandmother. The deposit was paid in August. The down payment and closing was done in September. At that point we were quoted 30-45 days until completion. At this time we have tattered roofing, loose siding, piers that keep falling from under the home, sharp objects protruding through the floor, exposed MDF in countertops that are susceptible to moisture, new cracks forming in the ceiling which implies shifting and a dirt pad that is undersized for the width of the home according to every contractor that has been out. Their previous contractors' have either utilized our materials, such as scraping the surrounding yard to make up a dirt shortage for the pad, or installed the incorrect type of system they were their to install. The cosmetic problems are extensive, but per the contract the manufacturer will have to fix those after ******'s is done with their responsibilities. However, I cannot get Tilleys to complete their end of this deal. I have spoken with the service manager, ********, and Greg Tilley about resolving this and have been provided no plan of resolution, only half hearted apologies and shifting of blame.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/02/28) */ I spoke with the factory and as of 1/13/22 the list has been completed by the factory contractor and Mr. ***** has intatialed all the items on the list that they were completed. Thanks, ******* Arrington Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/03/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) It is true that the factory did come and complete their responsibilities. However, Greg Tilley's Bossier Mobile Homes has never established contact despite two of their representatives who had to put piers back upright stating they reported our dirt pad as built too narrow for the home. This is passing the buck and calling a job done, not a resolution. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2022/03/11) */ I have tried to reach out to Mrs. *****'s grandson at XXXXXXXXXX and was unsuccessful in regards to what he is referencing to with any other items, this could be easily resolved with contact from the homeowner.
