On November 10th I started renting a storage unit from Securcare Self storage on Highway 80 in Haughton, experience was pleasant over the phone with corporate. On December 2nd we added to vehicle storage spots, over the phone with corporate. Was easy and then. Canceled on the 4th our move in date and was refunded the vehicle lots cost with corporate over the phone. We were told we were good and just had our storage unit left. On January 4th we were charged $29 each for the vehicle spots we thought we canceled successfully. I tried calling the local store, stopped by 2 times for 2 days. No one is ever in the store. So I called the 877 corporate number again, and they said that the person was at lunch and would be back at 2 pm. So I waited, at 215 I left. Called corporate back and they said emails were sent to the manager and regional manager and that my units would be canceled and I would receive a check in the mail for my refund of the charge in 6-8 weeks. I said thanks Now today is February 2 and I was just charged again for the 2 vehicle spots I still am not using canceled several times to no avail. I have stopped by the location several times, different days and no one is in that office. I have left messages with the local store no calls back. I am now filing a complaint because this is poor business management and something needs to be done. Thank youInitial Complaint

This business does not have a mailbox or other means of delivering mail and/or payments. I made rental payments on 5/25/22 and 6/17/22 through my bank via paper check. I've been receiving past due notices and was told by the manager that the post office didn't deliver mail since the end of May. Despite providing proof with bank statements, the facility has denied me access to my unit since June 11. They are charging additional rent plus late fees. If rent is past due, they can sell my property. I've written a more detailed statement that I'd like to email to you.
