Hello. I purchased another vehicle at max auto sales. (1-26-2024) current car from before was a 2012 camry (paid off) Spotted another vehicle a yr up 2013 camry. I loved it from my first experience! Test drove it great ! The next day going to work the engine light came on. The vibrating sound was present. I asked the same day of purchase. From the experts them selves “it’s nothing” Called the salesmen *******. Brought it to max’s. Sat there for 4-hours for them to say , just from sitting there the “ collision build up from yrs” I sprayed some solution it should be better and runs well. Says the mechanic Because the car has a bad sound to it (vibrating sound). Not even 2 days I called agian the light came back on agian. Spoke to Mrs ***** who is really sweet. Told me call “Mr. ***** “ at ******* ****** in Lafayette La. I called Mr ***** the same week. 1/29/24 to make an appointment for my car. With me working in Opelousas at the time was really hard for me to take it on time with them closing at 6 and I’m working at a doctors office that close at 5 every day. Long story short. Everyday I was there because of the engine light - Hampton cleared the codes numerous time Then it was to the point where my car isn’t starting like now. After being worked on 13 times. Having to pay 100 as a deductible. Not even 3 months. I had the car. I went to auto zone the reason for the engine light was my camshaft , the engine was bad and I needed to be seen ASAP. And shoudlnt drive the car. I’m a single parent with a 4yr we travel a lot and with this car I haven’t been able to because I’ve been stuck at a gas station, at home, at work. I spoke to Mr ****** about the situation never got a call back. Called agian yesterday 5/9/24 asking what are my option trade the car in or use my warranty to fix it. Looking at my Warranty Hampton wasn’t part of the Warranty. I couldn’t go anywhere else but them according to Max auto sales. *** is the warranty for the car.

Ms ***** did purchase a 2013 ****** camry from Max Auto Sales   She also purchased a warranty from *** Warranty Company.   It is my understanding that the repairs to her engine were completed by ******* ****** and paid for by the warranty company with the exception to her deductible.  If she continues to have the same issues with her car she would need to contact ******* ******.    I understand that she is having a no start issue that will be corrected on Monday with a new Passtime device installed in her car.

I am rejecting this response because:

      I’m sorry I disagree.

Since the purchase of this car Jan 26 I've had major issues with the vehicle. I've had to bring it to the shop 13 times for repair, repairs which were first denied. Everything under the hood is being tampered with/repaired which is very concerning. The same issues I complain about were present last time and was told the vehicle was in good running condition.  Today, again I am encouraged to go back and have them assess the car. Less then a week ago the rattling noise was "supposed to have been corrected is back 2 days after repair.  It is extremely concerning for me as a single parent. This vehicle is borderline unsafe and I fear for me and son's   safety .  Car Max continues to throw off the problem to Hampton and they are frustrated with me for complaining. I am requesting a different dealer to assess this vehicle because I feel there is no trust or honesty behind the dealer and repair shop. I am having to inconvenience family to get to work and to get my son. If going to Hampton is the only option I  want it noted with BBB for verification.  How many times will I have to go to prove this vehicle was over priced and a lemon. When you don't know these people manipulate you and screw you.  Sad and bad business.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *****

Ms. ***** has a warranty through a company named *** Warranty.   She needs to contact her Warranty company at **************    They will direct her to a repair facility.   We sent her to ******* ****** as she owns a ******.   If she is not happy with the work they performed. She can by all means try another repair facility.

I'm trying to find the original certificate of title of my car. I have a copy. Oregon state law requires the original to register my vehicle. Need the address of where the title is located. So I can send the Oregon state paperwork to them. So simple but they can seem to figure out what I need

      ********,

Because you have a loan on the title, the original is held by the lienholder.  In this case ******* ********** ****.  They will not release that original title until the loan is paid off.

You may call ****** ************ ext 146   she is the title clerk and may have some kind of solution for you.
