    The manager of this apartment complex is a mean bully. My mother passed and for 2 months I've been asking for her deposit. First she had know clue what to do and now she's give me the run around. Promised me $618.00 check and we've never received it

    ******** ***** passed away on 4/1/22 and family has 14 days to move deceased items out. She states on her complaint she has been seeking her deposit for "2 months". Her mother was still at the apartment complex 2 months ago. Her mother passed on April 1, 2022. They moved her items out by the required 14th day. As a result, I processed the closing documentation and submitted to Corp office in New York on 4/18/22. I spoke with ***** ******* twice in person since then, and once on the phone last week and gave her the check amount of 618.84 and gave her the date it was processed at Corp 5/3/22. She was satisfied with this information.

    Because Corp actually writes the checks, I could not give her an exact date that she would receive. I did however, tell her to expect it at the end of next week (Thurs/Fri - 4/19 or 20) without giving her dates. Her sister ******* ******** called me Wednesday 5/18 being ugly and telling me that I had not processed anything and that I had lied to them. I asked if she had talked to her sister, ***** and she said yes. She was yelling and with uncontrolled anger, so I told her I would be disconnecting the call until she could speak to me with respect. I called ***** to give her the amount and date again and asked if she had relayed the information to her sister that I gave her and she never answered my question. She said they've never received the check. I explained that I told her last week, to expect it Thurs/Fri and if not received, call me back and I would call Corp to see what I could find out. Because of her uncontrolled anger and yelling as well, I simply gave her Corp number to research herself and told her I would be disconnecting the call with her as well.

    She tried to use the card that her sister works for "State of LA, Health and Hospitals" and she would report me and I should be concerned. I expressed that does not concern me, because my part of the process is complete and I represent Tower Oaks and have completed my part in the refund process. I called ***** at Corp on 5/19 and she did receive the information I submitted on 4/14 and the check will go out as soon as she is complete with the processing.
