I purchased scrubs in August 2022. I was told they would be in about 4 to 6 weeks. It has been 6 months. I've tried calling - no answer, I have tried messaging through social media - no response, and stopping by the business and it hasn't been open. I spent almost $211 dollars.Initial Complaint

I purchased a pearl pink stethoscope from Cindy's Scrubs and Stuff on 8/31/2022. The total price was $160.30. It was purchased through ****** ********** payroll deduction that is offered to employees every August. The money was pulled from my check, so this item is paid for. I spoke with someone (***** maybe) a couple months ago. She originally said this item had been discontinued. Then called the company to find out it was just a backorder. I was told she would contact me when it came in. I still haven't heard from anyone. I have gone to the store, called, emailed, Facebook messaged, etc. I don't know what else to do. At this point, I just want my money back.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase for 3 shirts on 08/16/2022. I understood that the shirts had to be ordered. After about a month or 2 I checked in and was told they were not in. For the last few days they have not answered the phone or been in the store. My daughter reached out to Cindy's on Facebook where they said said they would call but still no call and no resolution.Initial Complaint

Ordered and paid for items 2 months ago. Items never came in and manager Beth refused to give me a refund but or call the owner so that I could make a complaint.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/10/31) */ Ms ******* came in but instead of picking up items, demanded the owner of the company be called. When she was told that was not proper protocol she proceeded to call the Shreveport Police Department and attempted to press charges for theft. Ms ******* left with a part of her order that the officer signed for saying she left the property with items purchased due to her refusal to sign. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/11/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I came in asking for a refund on items I had never received. The employee was extremely rude and unprofessional and that's when I ask to speak to the manager which she said she was so then I ask to speak to the owner and she refused and also refused to give a reason why would only say "because" like a little child. So yes I called the police because she refused to give me my money back or items. After she dug around forever she came up with one item of the 6 items that I had ordered. This same employee was walking around barefooted and the whole store was in total chaos. Extremely unprofessional behavior and the store is dirty and cluttered. As of right now I have received more items but still waiting on my jacket. I will never go in this store again and I have and will continue to tell my healthcare worker friends about itInitial Complaint

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/10/31) */ We have never had access to anyones checking account, nor will we ever unless it is a 1 time charge to a checking account which is not the case. Ms ****** daughter, ******** ********* has picked up 1 item. She was told an item would be on back order at the time of purchase. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/11/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Cindy's did not call me to even say that at least my pants I purchased where there. When I finally was able to contact them, she(Beth) told me then my pants were there. I then asked my daughter to pickup. Now as far as the cost for purchase - I filled out a special forms that allows you to break down payments, bi- weekly. She is paid in full at the time of transaction while Human Resources deducts from your checking as agreed until total payments completed. So Cindy's doesn't have access to my acct, but my point is she got paid, regardless of how the money was received. Finally, I spoke with her today after I called and questioned if Stethoscope was in - this time she says she has not received it but it has been shipped. So, she is getting correspondence now. I think the ball is rolling because I contacted you.
