Comeaux auto glass changed my windshield on my 2006 F150, on March 7,2024 at the recommendation of **** ***** ** Body Shop because I went for new inspection sticker had a crack on windshield could not get sticker was advised it needed to be change. I wanted a factory windshield so I called got a quote book them to come out and do the job. So I was trusting them blindly ( because of recommendation) I was impressed how well they work together So as soon I paid them $450.00 cash I put my truck back into the garage not wanting anything to happen to the new glass or my truck (which I take excellent care of). Now after looking at my truck and doing my research I saw all the mistakes I have holes in the sides I am missing a side cowl piece and they did not use the windshield rubber sealant. My truck is now a mess I also know that if you scratch anything around where the windshield goes it will not fit snug you can cause rust and leaks from rain and wind . I want my truck fixed back to the right way the way it was suppose to be done the first time. My truck means a lot to me I am proud of how I take care of her. I don't trust this company to do the job if they didn't do it right the first time (would you trust them again I would not) and did I mention that the person who work on my truck was the owner of the company at least that's what he said I didn''t ask his name but they know who they were. I have contacted comeaux auto glass with my complaint and pictures. I have pictures I don't know how to send them with the complaint. Comeaux auto glass has the pictures. I am so very upset that I let my guard down .......Business response

This complaint had already been taken care of before Ms. ***** even wrote a complaint on BBB. We ordered pieces to replace the dry rotted ones on her truck. After parking her truck, she decided to get a google university degree in auto glass replacement and started picking and pulling parts off of her truck. There is nothing wrong with the install of her new windshield. Her job was completed by the most experienced installer in our area. She doesn't even know what she is complaining of. Once said parts that we ordered for her came in, she was called and notified. She declined for us to go back and put them on. All she wanted to do is tell me how to run a business and come up with other complaints. She ordered them herself off of Amazon and had someone else replace them. This is so simple and doesn't even involve the windshield at all. They are just for cosmetic purposes.
